A fine solid example of the Artillery Short Sword and scabbard. 100% original and complete except the scabbard tip. Blade is very nice markings are very legible. As for the firm marking the “N.P Ames” firm marking is all there. The blade is excellent. The brass handle and guard are excellent. The brass mounted leather scabbard is solid and whole with just some surface crazing in the finish on the leather. The scabbard tip is gone. The White buff rig is excellent the leather is very pliable and moves very easy. No cracks or bad spots at all. Has stampings inside and the owners name can faintly be seen (see photos).
