There is no numbers so it is impossible to accurately date this one but the approximate date is 1860. It is a standard version with plain wood grips. This gun’s spring is very tight and does work and does fire and it does cock. it is the first model that was scarce and quickly replaced by the 2nd model with loading lever . In good condition, nice look and the grips are very nice. The gun is .36 caliber 5 shot revolver. A classic Civil War pistol and A choice functioning display gun.
