Original Antique Civil War Veteran’s Souvenir Cane Made From Wood From Round Top Gettysburg Battlefield Certified. One of the classic early Gettysburg battlefield souvenirs. These canes were made on the battlefield by individuals using magnifier glasses to burn the art into the wood. The wood came from “Round Top” on the battlefield. The design incorporates Civil War Corps Badges and is finished with an ink stamper saying “Gettysburg July 1,2,3, 1863 Wood From Round Top”. Kids would sit out on the battlefield and make these canes from Veterans and tourists in the last quarter of the 19th century up to about 1913 or a bit later. Cane is about 34″ an is in excellent condition. A great relic from the Gettysburg Battlefield. All Gettysburg relics were obtained before it was national Park and are 100% legal to own.
