President John F. Kennedy’s Working White House Phone. A black rotary metal dial standard phone with center dial White House marking. This type of phone was installed in the White House during the last part of Eisenhower’s administration and was replaced in late 1963. The phone is well used but in good condition. It was converted to be compatible with a modern phone jack so this is an artifact you can actually use if you choose to. We tested it and it does have a dial tone. A very interesting, working relic from JFK’s White House. Gettysburg Museum certified, museum COA provided.
