Hitler would send funeral wreaths with his personal Fuhrer ribbon to high level officers and part officials funerals. This card was was recovered from his office at the Fuhrerbru in Munich by a U.S 45th Division soldier in May 1945 as “Loot” or “Trophy of War”. It was from the Dr. Mark Griffith collection who wrote several books of WWII and interviewed hundreds of Veterans.
