Adolf Hitler’s Personal  “A.H.” Monogram LARGE Silver Sauce Ladle “Liberated” From The Berghof  By A U.S. Solider Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A Silver serving sauce ladle  inlaid with Adolf Hitler’s personal AH monogram. This is the type used by Hitler for informal dinners, luncheons  and entertaining diplomatic and personal guests. This ladle  measures about 8″  with a .5″ AH monogram. It is in good condition with some slight tarnish on the silver and slight patina but overall very nice condition and it looks great. This serving ladle  was recovered in the basement bomb shelter of the Berghof. The Berghof  was Hitler’s home at the Obersalzberg Mountain near Berchtesgaden. This knife along with several other items was “liberated” in May 1945 by a U.S. Solider named Stan Griffith of the 79th fighter group. He is the U.S. Veteran pictured giving a Hitler Salute on the book about Hitler silver that was written by his son Mark Griffith. This book is the only real Hitler silver guide and is explained in the book.
