Adolf Hitler’s Personal  White Linen Hankey “Liberated” From The Berghof  By A U.S. Solider Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A plain white cloth handkerchief.  This cloth was liberated by a U.S. Soldier named Russel Dysert who was with the 3rd Infantry Division and was one of those who first entered Adolf Hitler’s Berghof on May 4th 1945. Read Dysert’s interview pictured here for his detailed account. He brought home Hitler’s pistol, silver, and linens including this. He used the lines to wrap items when he mailed them home. This is in Dr. Mark Griffith’s book on Hitler and Braun silver.  This book is the only real Hitler silver/cloth guide and is explained in the book.
