DISPLAY OF AN ORIGINAL 1927 POSTCARD, SIGNED BY ADOLF HITLER, HEINRICH HIMMLER, GREGOR STRASSER & KARL KAUFMANN 1927 signed postcard with the signatures of Hitler, Himmler, Strasser, and Kaufmann. The front of the postcard reads “Der Marxismus Sterbe Damit Sozialismus Lebe”, which translates to “Marxism must die for Socialism to Live”. The card is addressed and signed by Heinrich Himmler to a Mr. Fischer in Witten/Ruhr. Himmler writes in lead pencil “Elberfeld 27 April, 1927 – Gruss u. Heil!” Under Himmler’s signature are the signatures of Karl Kaufmann, Gregor Strasser (murdered on The Night of the Long Knives), and Adolf Hitler. On the day this postcard is dated (Wednesday, April 27, 1927), Hitler gave a speech in the Municipal Hall of Essen in front of 400 participants. Among these spectators were Himmler, Strasser, and Kaufmann. This card was signed by these men at one of Hitler’s speaking events during the rise of the NSDAP. The party pin is an early original and the back of the display is glass in order to show the original front of the postcard. The size of the display is 19.25 x 18.25 inches.
