Original WWII German Fighting Knife Taken By U.S. Solider And Used By Him Certified
Original WWII German Fighting Knife Taken By U.S. Solider And Used By Him Certified. A very interesting WWII German boot knife that was altered by a U.S. solider after it was captured. This stated our as a German boot knife with metal scabbard. The handle grips were taken off and aircraft Plexiglas was added, this was a common thing in WWII. Plexiglas was new and most soldiers never saw it before so they were fascinated by it. The metal scabbard was placed into a leather U.S. solider made sheath. A very interesting alteration. Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. Certified by The Gettysburg Museum of History. The Gettysburg Museum of History does not support or condone Adolf Hitler or the Nazi Party and is only offering this as a historic relic. Please see our other items.
