Original WWII German Luftwaffe Officer’s Parade Belt And Buckle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. Die struck, aluminum alloy construction belt buckle. The horizontally oval, buckle features an embossed, oak-leave wreath to the outside edge encompassing a slightly domed, pebbled field, with a separate early “droop tailed” pattern Luftwaffe eagle clutching a canted swastika in it’s talons to the center. The eagle is secured to the buckle a small, dome headed rivet which is visible on the reverse. Nice quality, roughly 46mm wide, 100cm long, bright, silver/aluminum brocade belt. One of the fasteners is broken and missing (see pics) otherwise in good condition. It is fastened together with loop and the belt functions well and could be used on a display with a uniform if desired. Priced accordingly. 100% guaranteed to be authentic complete museum documentation (COA) provided.
