Original WWII German M-35 Double Decal Helmet Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The sheet steel construction helmet retains most of its original smooth, Luftwaffe blue/grey paint. The left side of the helmet has a second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal which is retained 95%. The right side of the helmet has a national tri-color shield decal which is retained about 90%. All three liner retaining rivets and both inset ventilation bushings are all intact. The interior of the helmet has a tan leather, M31 liner. All the liner fingers are complete and are in nice condition, but does have a blood stain (see photos) . No Drawstring The reverse interior neck guard apron is serial number stamped, “4268” and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturers code and size, “SE66”, indicating manufacture by Sächsische Emaillier-und Stanzwerke, AG Lauter, (Saxon Enamel and Die/Metal Stamp Works size 66.
