Original WWII HERMANN GÖRING UNIT PANZER/Ground Crew EM/NCO’S CAP Eagle Certified. Personnel serving in Panzer units of the Hermann Göring Division were issued with the black Panzer wrap around tunic and the black overseas and M43 field caps. The national breast and cap eagle worn on the black Panzer wrap tunics and caps was identical to the standard issue eagle but was worked on a black background as opposed to the regular Luftwaffe blue/grey background. Of Note: Airfield Ground crew personnel were also issued with a black drill/work uniform and cap.and also wore them. Machine embroidered, second pattern, (Circa 1936/1937-1945), Luftwaffe eagle, clutching a canted swastika in one talon, in silvery/grey cotton threads on a cut-out, black wool base. .
