SOLD Original WWII Era German  Nazi Party Flag Certified. A  Cloth  banner  type flag. Utilized by pretty much by all the organization of the Third Reich in one form or another. The swastika, (a Sanskrit word meaning “well being”), is an ancient symbol that was utilized in numerous diverse cultures and signified both the cycle of life and the sun. The swastika was also a Nordic rune and the pagan Germanic symbol for Thor, God of Adventurers.  In very good (almost mint)  condition double sided,  20″/32″ thin cotton bunting style material with separate sewn cloth white disk and screened  swastika. Has the original paper tag from the store or manufacturer  (see photos).  We placed a helmet on the flag for size reference.  A fantastic piece of WWII history.  Very minor storage wear, no fading no holes.   A good (almost mint)  version and one of the better displayable sizes for the most  discriminating and cultivated collector.  it  is Overall a very collectible flag with lots of history Nice period used flag captured by an Allied Veteran named T-5 Howard S. Morgan from the 4th Infantry Divison who landed on Utah Beach on June 6, 1944. See a letter with his name (letter is for reference and is not included). Morgan  brought this flag home as a war trophy.   100% Guaranteed to be authentic Brought home by a D-Day solider as a trophy of war.
