Original WWII Era Early SA Dagger Maker Marked by Carl Eickhorn Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. This outstanding Dagger is a typical bring-back example it has some very minor condition issues. The earliest production SA from Eickhorn for someone who demands the best! The bright blade on this one looks excellent. The crossgrain looks great in the light with a few dings. The crisp acid etched “Alles fur Deutschland” motto and “Carl Eickhorn Solingen” maker mark are beautifully executed. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates a very good-. There are a few dings from use, but that’s it. The brown anodized scabbard is about 95%! It remains mostly dent free except for the tip and a very small slight dent (see photos). The solid nickel scabbard fittings and hand chased crossguards remain in great shape! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked “Wf” (Westfallen). The ball remains round and all four screws remaining intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The multi-toned hardwood grip looks beautiful. No chips, cracks or splits. The grip / crossguard fits are perfect. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 90% of its enamel. Overall a worn but very clean honest U.S. Veteran bring-back SA Dagger. U.S. Veteran bring-back condition.
