May the new year bring you, above all, a return of your health which is the prerequisite necessary to master our destiny which is not a paltry one. An old map of Bohemia is my personal gift to you…I hope that the Damascus sword will also meet with your fond reception. I arrived at Gmund yesterday. I had an enormous mass of work to accomplish. Beginning tomorrow I will be celebrating the Day of German Art for three days…thereafter I am planning to go off on a fortnight’s vacation…Murge spent 14 days at the Ostsee with Pegge, the best thing they could have done…And now, a firm handshake and Heil Hitler.
