Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) NSKK SECOND PATTERN DRIVER’S SLEEVE DIAMOND. (Kraftfahrraute) Certified

    $59.00
Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) NSKK SECOND PATTERN DRIVER'S SLEEVE DIAMOND. (Kraftfahrraute) Certified. The development of the NSKK, "National Sozialistisches Kraftfahr Korps" (National Socialist Motor Corps), can be traced back to 1923 when the SA introduced a "Kraftfahr Abteilung" (Motor Section) to transport personnel as required. In 1928 the SA Motor section was expanded to "Kraftfahrstaffeln" (Motor-squadrons). In an attempt to create a national motor corps, the NSAK, "National Sozialistisches Automobil Korps" (National Socialist Automobile Corps), was formed in April of 1930 as an NSDAP auxiliary organization, subordinate to the SA. In early 1931 Adolf Hühnlein was appointed as Chief of the NSAK and proposed a name change to NSKK, which was officially accepted in April of 1931. Shortly after the purge of the SA during the "Night of the Long Knives," in June of 1934, the NSKK was promoted to an official NSDAP organization, given independent status within the party, and absorbed the SA Motor Squadron's personnel. A "Kraftfahrraute" (Driver's-diamond) was originally worn by all NSKK members, on their lower left sleeve, but by September of 1939 only those who held one of the four classes of motor vehicle operator's licenses were permitted to wear them.  A black rayon diamond sewn over a wool padding insert, 70mm tall and 52mm wide, upon which is machine woven, in silver-aluminum thread, a second pattern spread-winged eagle clutching a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons, against a six-spoked wheel. Condition is excellent. Paper RZM tag is no longer intact but you can see where it was torn off on reverse. .Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. SOLD Original WWII German Clasp To The Iron Cross 2nd Class Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. On September 1ST 1939 Hitler once more reinstituted the Iron Cross series of awards in the First and Second Classes and established the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross and two new Spangen, (Bars), for the first and second class awards to be bestowed to recipients of the 1939 Iron Cross who had also been awarded a first or second class 1914 Iron Cross during WWI. • Original WWII German Army (Heer) NCO/Officer’s Breast Eagle Removed From A Uniform Certified

SOLD Original WWII German Army (Heer) NCO/Officer's Breast Eagle Removed From A Uniform Certified. The German army originally adopted a slightly modified version of the NSDAP’s national eagle by order on February 17TH 1934, with instructions to have it applied to all steel helmets, visor caps, and tunics by May 1ST 1934. Later amendments to the introductory order stipulated that the national eagle was also to be worn on all field caps, the sports uniform and the black panzer wrap. The eagle came in three distinct designs with two having slightly different out-stretched wings and the third with down-swept wings. Generally Officer’s ranks utilized hand or machine embroidered breast eagles while EM/NCO’s ranks utilized machine embroidered or woven breast eagles. The early, standard issue, EM/NCO’s M36 breast eagles were in white threads and were to be abolished in 1939 to be replaced with a less visible grey M39 breast eagle but the changeover was never fully completed. This pattern was primarily utilized on the service dress uniform and the M35 dress tunic but it can also be encountered on field blouses. Machine woven, national breast eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in it’s talons in bright, silver/aluminum flat-wire threads on a cut-out, woven, blue/green rayon base which is machine stitched on a blue/green badge cloth backing. OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE  NSDAP FLAGS ARE GETTING TOUGHER TO FIND!!!! A note about blood stains. We have handled many blood stained Japanese flags in the past, they are fairly common. This is the only blood stained German flag we have seen. It is difficult to tell 100% if it's blood or something else but it is constant with the look of other blood stained items we have handled. This is most likely from a home or building in German that was destroyed and possibly a person was nearby. The Germans did not routinely carry flags on their person like the Japanese did. The stain pattern looks like the flag was folded or balled up and the stains transferred onto the other parts of the flag. A VERY INTERESTING RELIC!
