    SOLD Original WWII German West Wall Medal (Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen) Certified.  The West Wall Medal was instituted by Adolf Hitler on August 2nd 1939 to recognize military personnel, including civilian employees, who assisted in the planning, construction or defence of German fortifications on the western border. Die struck, tombac construction medal with a bronze wash is in the form of a roughly, 41mm tall, 32mm wide, vertical oval with embossed, oak-leaf wreath edging encompassing a smooth field with an embossed national eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in its talons, positioned above a crossed spade and sword which are in turn positioned above a pillbox to the obverse. The reverse also has the embossed, oak-leaf wreath edging which encompasses embossed, Latin script, "Für Arbeit zum Schutze Deutschlands", (For Work on the Defenses of Germany), on a smooth background field. The medal loop and the ribbon suspension ring are both intact. Included is an original piece of rayon ribbon. Comes with original issue envelope. Has some light creasing to envelope (see photo).     SOLD Original WWII German DEUTSCHE WEHRMACHT  Armband Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The Army Mobilization Order of March 12TH 1937, introduced a wide variety of armbands that were worn to identify personnel performing specific duties or functions for the Armed Forces. Most of the armbands were worn on the upper left sleeve of uniformed or non-uniformed personnel and were worn only while the individual was performing the specific duty or function identified by the armband. The "Deutsche Wehrmacht", (German Armed Forces), armband was one of the armbands introduced with the Army Mobilization Order of March 12TH 1937 and was designed for wear by non-uniformed personnel serving with the Armed Forces. Of Note: New regulations of October 1ST 1941 restricted wear of this armband to non-uniformed non-combatant personnel.  Roughly, 10.5cm tall, 36cm long, woven, yellow cotton construction armband with machine woven, black, Gothic script in two lines to the obverse, "Deutsche Wehrmacht", (German Armed Forces). The top and bottom edges of the armband have interwoven rows of reinforcement stitching.  In good worn condition some storage wear good colors. Uniform removed.     SOLD   Original WWII German Rail Road Eagle Removed From A Train Car By A U.S. Veteran Certified. This is an excellent condition totally genuine German World War Two rail road eagle used to attach to the front of locomotives and box cars during the reign of the Third Reich. It measures 27 inches across and 13 inches tall which is generally refereed to as a 27  inch eagle and a standard size for locomotive eagles. The mounting bolts were ground away with clear files marks remaining and others were broken off when removed. he reverse is marked in the center of the eagle with the compound elements which reads; GAL-Mg-Si (Gal=Galvanized Aluminum, Mg=Magnesium, Si=Silicon) and as well as the abbreviations RZA 4 Zug Adler (Train Eagle 4), and BLN = Berlin. Do not get fooled by the many replicas being offered. This is a 100% Museum certified ORIGINAL Eagle that was taken off a train by a U.S. Veteran. This is a "one looker" as we say!     SOLD Outstanding German NSDAP (Nazi Party) DRKB/NS-RKB VISOR CAP Certified. The DRKB, Deutscher Reichskriegerbund (Kyffhäuserbund), (German National Association of Veterans, Kyffhäuser Association), was formed during WWI, and was based on the DKB, Deutscher Kriegerbund (German Veterans Association), originally formed after the war of 1870-71. The addition of "Kyffhäuser" in the associations name referred to the Kyffhäuser mountain where a large war memorial had been erected. The goal of the association was to preserve the morale and comradeship of former soldiers and to financially assist its members if required. On March 29TH 1938 the DRKB was renamed NS-RKB, Nationalsozialistische-Reichskriegerbund, (National Socialist-State Soldiers League), by the NSDAP and amalgamated with most of the earlier veterans associations into one national organization. Uniform and headgear regulations of the DRKB/NS-RKB were introduced.  A 1936 pattern, deep navy blue wool construction visor cap. Fixed to the forward seem is a Notional  a cockade and a gilt washed, stamped alloy, oak-leaf wreath encompassing a third pattern DRKB insignia, as introduced in late 1935. The insignia consists of a gilt washed alloy oval with the embossed black silhouette of the Kyffhäuserbund monument, on a white field, surmounting a red field with a black mobile swastika on a white circular field.. The black rayon center band features machine embroidered mobile swastikas alternating with shields, within which are “Kyffhäuser” monuments (a monument to a united Germany located in Saxony). Fixed by the black-painted, convex metal buttons positioned over each ear is a blackened leather chin strap, with two black-painted metal adjusting buckles along its length. The interior of the cap is fully lined in mid-blue rayon, and features a tan leather sweatband. Ink stamped, in silver, to a celluloid diamond sewn to the interior crown is nicely maker marked.  size marked 59. Cap is Excellent, near mint.     SOLD Original German NSDAP (Nazi Party) RBD, "Reichsbahndirektion" (National-railway-directorate) Sleeve Eagle Certified. This insignia, introduced in September of 1941, was the sleeve eagle that was utilized to differentiate between the four German Railway directorates, namely, the WVD, "Wehrmacht Verkehrsdirektion" (Armed-forces Traffic-directorate), the RVD, "Reichsverkersdirektion" (National-traffic-directorate), the HVD, "Hauptverkehrsdirektion" (Central-traffic-directorate), and the RBD, "Reichsbahndirektion" (National-railway-directorate). These four directorates were further broken down into divisions based on important railway yards or areas. Of Note: These sleeve eagles with directorate and location replaced the previously used, short lived, separate sleeve eagle and cufftitle with the directorate and location. A machine woven, right facing eagle with outstretched wings and a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons, positioned above the arching script, "RBD Nürnberg." All of the threads are bright golden-yellow, against a half-moon shaped, woven black base, which is still on its section of black rayon factory roll.     SOLD Original WWII Era German DRL Sports Badge In SILVER Maker Marked Worn by SS, SA, and all branches, Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Originally introduced in 1913 as the DRA badge, this was modified in 1933 to the DRL badge and again in 1937 with the addition of the swastika. The award was intended as an incentive for physical training, and was issued to both males and females between 18 and 32 years old who met the required criteria for an eight year period, or those between the ages of 32 to 40 who met the criteria over a twelve month period. A 1937 pattern, die struck silver award. The badge is in the form of a vertical oval oak leaf wreath, with a mobile swastika and bow to its base, encompassing the stylized, cut-out letters, "DRL." To the reverse is a vertical pin-back device, hinged to its top and with a catch to its base.     SOLD 'Original WWII German Four PLACE RIBBON BAR. (Kleine Ordensschnallen) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The wear of Awards, Medal Bars and Ribbon Bars were addressed in regulations of April 28TH 1937 and followed established directives that had been previously laid down. When an award was instituted the introductory orders would prescribe the proper form of wear with most of the awards being permitted to be grouped together on a medal or ribbon bar. The medal bars were intended for wear on the walking-out dress and formal uniforms, while the ribbon bars were intended for all other forms of dress. Strict regulations listed the required order in which ribbons awards were authorized to be worn on the ribbon bar. A three  place bar with An Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939,  A war merit cross 2nd class with Swords, and A Air Defence medal, Complete with pin-back device.   • Original WWII German Kriegsmarine (Navy) Breast Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Solider Certified

    SOLD Original WWII German Kriegsmarine (Navy)  Breast Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Solider Certified. The Kriegsmarine adopted slightly modified version of the NSDAP’s, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (National Socialist German Worker’s Party), national eagle for wear on the front of the headgear and the right breast of the uniform on March 24TH 1934. The Kriegsmarine’s version of the national eagle was identical to the army version except for the coloration with the army utilizing silver, white and grey eagles while the Kriegsmarine utilized golden yellow eagles. Beginning in 1935 Kriegsmarine land based personnel, primarily Coastal Artillery units, were issued field-grey uniforms that followed the fundamental designs of the army uniforms with minor variations. The breast eagles for the field-grey uniforms was basically the same as the standard breast eagles but were worked on different colored backgrounds. The early produced breast eagles were on a dark blue/green base while later production models were on a field-grey base. A  machine woven breast eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in it’s talons, in golden yellow rayon threads on a woven, field-grey rayon base. The eagle is still on its original, field-grey, rayon and is in overall excellent, unissued condition.  Nice example un-issued with expected used U.S. Veteran bring-back condition.  Scarce in such good condition.     SOLD Original WWII German WAR MERIT CROSS 1ST CLASS, 1939 WITH SWORDS Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The War Merit Cross was instituted by Adolf Hitler on October 18TH 1939, in two classes with both classes issued, with and without swords, for award to military personnel and civilians, including females and foreigners, for exemplary service and/or bravery in Germany’s war effort, in a non-combatant role. The addition of swords to the award signified bravery while awards without swords were bestowed for service. Die struck, alloy construction bravery award with silver finish is in the form of a Maltese style cross with a circular centerpiece with an embossed, canted, swastika encircled by an oak-leave wreath to the obverse. The swords, indicating bravery, emanated upwards between the arms of the cross. The background field of the obverse centerpiece is smooth while the arms of the cross have a pebbled background field with raised, smooth, outer edges. The plain, reverse has a soldered, solid style hinge, a broad, tapered, vertical pin and soldered catch is intact. The reverse  is well marked with the impressed manufacturer’s numerical code, "3", indicating manufacture by Wilhelm Deumer.  in overall in good condition. The background field of the obverse centerpiece is smooth while the arms of the cross have a pebbled background field with raised, smooth, outer edges. The plain, reverse has a small, soldered, barrel type hinge, a broad, vertical tapered pin and catch all intact. The reverse of the pin is well marked with embossed manufacturer's numerical code, "4", indicating manufacture by Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid.     Original Early (pre-1937) German DRL Sports Badge In Bronze Maker Marked Worn by SS, SA, and all branches, Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Originally introduced in 1913 as the DRA badge, this was modified in 1933 to the DRL badge and again in 1937 with the addition of the swastika. The award was intended as an incentive for physical training, and was issued to both males and females between 18 and 32 years old who met the required criteria for an eight year period, or those between the ages of 32 to 40 who met the criteria over a twelve month period. A pre-1937 pattern, die struck bronze award. The badge is in the form of a vertical oval oak leaf wreath, and bow to its base, encompassing the stylized, cut-out letters, "DRL." To the reverse is a vertical pin-back device, hinged to its top and with a catch to its base.     SOLD OUTSTANDING! NS-RKB PERSONNEL'S VISOR CAP. (Schirmmütze) NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) Certified. : A 1936 pattern, deep navy blue wool construction visor cap. Fixed to the forward seam line of the body is a 1938 pattern, stamped aluminum, spread-winged eagle with a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons, and crossed swords behind an Iron Cross to its breast. The Iron Cross is detailed in black enamel. Beneath this, fixed to the front of the center band, is a stamped aluminum, open-topped wreath of oak leaves, bound at its base and encompassing a cockade. The black rayon center band features machine embroidered mobile swastikas alternating with shields, within which are "Kyffhäuser" monuments (a monument to a united Germany located in Saxony). Fixed by the black-painted, convex metal buttons positioned over each ear is a blackened leather chin strap, with two black-painted metal adjusting buckles along its length. The interior of the cap is fully lined in mid-blue rayon, and features a tan leather sweatband. Ink stamped, in silver, to a celluloid diamond sewn to the interior crown is nicely maker marked. Roughly a size 56. Cap is Excellent, near mint. A roughly 32mm diameter, die struck zinc/alloy medal features two embossed, high relief, stylized gladiators, representing Germany and Italy, slaying a crocodile, representing Great Britain to the obverse. The reverse has the embossed likeness of the Feleni arch, the Royal Knot of the House of Savoy, a fasces and a swastika. The outer border of the reverse has embossed script in both Italian and German, "Campagna Italo-Tedesca in Africa", and, "Italienisch-Deutscher Feldzug in Afrika" (Italian-German Campaign in Africa). The obverse of the medal has the embossed designer's and manufacturer's names, "De Marchis" and, "Lorioli Milano" respectively. These miniature awards were private purchase items and could only be purchased by individuals with the proper ownership documentation. General regulations, with a few minor exceptions, permitted wear of three miniature awards at one time but prohibited the mixing of military and civilian awards on one lapel pin.     Outstanding VERY RARE Exclamation Point M-33 SS Service Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

    Outstanding VERY RARE Exclamation Point M-33 SS Service Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. RZM marked nice quality dagger features a roughly, 22cm long, double edged, drop forged steel construction, nickel/silver plated blade with a low central ridge. The nickel/silver plated blade shows light scabbard runners and is still quite clean and bright with most of the original cross graining still being visible. The obverse of the blade has a nice, deep, well defined acid etched motto, "Meine Ehre Heißt Treue", (My Honor is Loyalty). With MEGA RARE exclamation point!!!!! The reverse of the blade has a well defined acid etched manufacturers logo, name and location. The RZM mark and maker number M7/29 for Klittemann & Moog and Jacobs. The dagger comes with a solid nickel/silver cross guard, pommel and tang nut and a carved ebony grip (note there is a few very small cracks in the wood (see photos) Very minor to the naked eye. The nicely shaped ebony grip has a nice snug fit to the cross guard and pommel fittings. The grip has a flush, inset, solid nickel/silver national eagle and nickel/silver and enameled runic SS button nicely fit in place. The dagger comes with a black painted, magnetic sheet metal scabbard with solid nickel/silver fittings. The scabbard retains all of its black finish. Both the top and bottom scabbard fittings retain both of their dome headed retaining screws and the top fitting has the hanger suspension ring and loop intact. Small crack at the tip near the screw where it was dropped at some point (minor but we thought we should point it out (see photos) Super nice! Roughly, 22mm tall, 15mm wide, vertically oval, die struck alloy lapel pin with multi-colored enamel work. The pin features a translucent red outer border with an underlying textured background . The red outer border encompasses a white inner oval with a silver bordered, black spade head with a canted, central, swastika. The spade handle is flanked by diagonally angled sheaves of wheat.     SOLD Original German NSDAP (Nazi Party) DAF "Deutsche Arbeitsfront" (German Labor-front) Member's Lapel Badge Certified.  The "Deutsche Arbeitsfront" (German Labor-front), originally founded in 1933, became an official NSDAP organization in October 1934. Its stated purpose was to educate the workers in industry and commerce in furtherance of the smooth and efficient operation of all labor in the Third Reich. It also controlled the KdF, "Kraft durch Freude" (Strength through Joy) organization which provided recreation for workers. However, DAF’s most important goal was to enforce the political stability of the large mass of work force. A die-struck alloy pin which features the DAF emblem of a mobile swastika within a fourteen-toothed cog, 20mm in diameter. Where the cog is smooth, the swastika has raised edges within which is a cross-hatched pattern. Complete with original pin back device.     SOLD Original German NSDAP (Nazi) LARGE "N.S. FRAUENSCHAFT" MEMBERSHIP BADGE Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The "Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft" (National Socialist Women’s-organization) was formed by absorbing the earlier "Deutsches Frauenwerk" (German Women’s-welfare-organization), and the "Deutscher Frauenorden" (German Women’s-order), into a single national organization.  A slightly convex, alloy and enamel badge in the form of an inverted triangle, 39mm wide along its top edge and 44mm tall. "N.S. Frauenschaft" is to the white band to the top of the obverse, underneath of which is a white cross against a black background. To the center of the cross is a red, static swastika, and "G" is to its left arm, "H" to its right, and "L" to its base. These Gothic letters signify the Frauenschaft motto, "Glaube, Hoffnung, Liebe" (Faith, Hope, Love). All of the letters, and the edges of the swastika, cross, and the badge itself, are in the same gilt color as its alloy base. A horizontal pin-back device is crimped to a circular plate brazed to the reverse. Nice quality example showing the expected minor age and wear, slight loss to the tip of the enamel.     SOLD Original WWII German SA MILITARY DEFENSE/TEAM SPORTS ARMBAND With RZM. The "SA -Wehrmannschaft" (SA -Military-defense-training-groups) were formed in January 1939 as a response to Hitler's decree for the SA to provide pre- and post-military defense training to all civilian males aged from 18 to 65 years old. Effectively a Home Guard comprised of those deemed unfit for regular military service due to age or partial infirmity, they wore a distinctive armband which incorporated the "SA -Wehrabzeichen" (SA Sports-badge) which, after July 1942, was restricted to wear on civilian clothing. The approximately 10cm x 45cm red cotton armband has a 9cm diameter white field sewn to it, upon which is the SA sports badge machine woven in copper-colored threads. The SA sports badge is in the form of an upright short sword against a mobile swastika surrounded by an oak leaf wreath. The armband's vertical seam is to the reverse. Still has the original paper RZM tag inside (see photos).  In good condition.     SOLD Papers Please! An Outstanding SA (Brownshirt) Man's Grouping Of Documents Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Award and Document Set to SAScharführer Friedrich Bautz. Bautz was born 25 January 1905 in Dudweiler and was a miner by profession. He was a member of SASturm 16-70. His SASport Badge booklet was started 1 April 1936, Saarbruecken. It has his photo smoking a cigarette. It has entries into1938. His SAMedical Examination Certificate was completed on 20 August 1936, and has the red ink stap of SASturmbann IV-70. He was classified, 2. His health “book” was an insert inside the SALeistungsbuch. He was found fit 23 May 1936. Not shown on the inside is where they recorded that his family was free from any genetic defects. The War Service Cross 2nd Class, Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2 Klasse, lists him as an SAScharführer. The award was made 20 September 1944, Munich. It has a stamped signature of Generalleutnant Vorwald. The ink stamp is for the Luftgau. It has a 4 way fold. Unusual to get a set to an SA Staff Sergeant, especially as late as 1944. Great grouping!  These are excellent for teachers and researchers.     SOLD Original German NSDAP (Nazi) "NAT. SOZ.  FRAUENSCHAFT" MEMBERSHIP BADGE Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The "Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft" (National Socialist Women’s-organization) was formed by absorbing the earlier "Deutsches Frauenwerk" (German Women’s-welfare-organization), and the "Deutscher Frauenorden" (German Women’s-order), into a single national organization.  A slightly convex, alloy and enamel badge in the form of an inverted triangle, 16mm wide along its top edge and 20mm tall. "N.S. Frauenschaft" is to the white band to the top of the obverse, underneath of which is a white cross against a black background. To the center of the cross is a red, static swastika, and "G" is to its left arm, "H" to its right, and "L" to its base. These Gothic letters signify the Frauenschaft motto, "Glaube, Hoffnung, Liebe" (Faith, Hope, Love). All of the letters, and the edges of the swastika, cross, and the badge itself, are in the same gilt color as its alloy base. A horizontal pin-back device is crimped to a circular plate brazed to the reverse. Has the RZM mark "M1/92 number code  for Maker Karl Wild, Hamburg .     SOLD Original WWII German Non Members Of The Armed Forces Service  Armband Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The Army Mobilization Order of March 12TH 1937, introduced a wide variety of armbands that were worn to identify personnel performing specific duties or functions for the Armed Forces. Most of the armbands were worn on the upper left sleeve of uniformed or non-uniformed personnel and were worn only while the individual was performing the specific duty or function identified by the armband. The "Nicht-Wehrmachtangehörige", (Non-Members of the Armed Forces), armband was one of the armbands introduced with the Army Mobilization Order of March 12TH 1937 and was designed for wear by combatants who were not members of the Armed Forces. Screened  golden yellow cotton construction armband with a black, embroidered, stylized national eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in its talons to the obverse center. The top and bottom edges of the armband have interwoven rows of reinforcement stitching and the reverse of the armband has a machine stitched, vertical, seam.In good worn condition some storage wear good colors.     SOLD Papers Please! A WWI Soldier Is Drafted Into Service Again During WWII Excellent Group Of Documents And Photos Certified. Wehrpass and Document Set for Heinrich Neustedt, born 7 August 1897, Bürgdamm. He was a business manager in civilian. The Wehrpass was started 13 May 1943, Bremen. The cover is stamped Heer in red ink. The symbol on the cover is partially inked in, so he obviously used it as an identity document after 1945. The pages are complete, but are loose from the cover. He had a Class 3 civilian driver’s license. He was drafted for military service, and was classified Landwehr II, 13 May 1943. He served in WW1 from 10 May 1916 until 30 March 1919, and had trained on a 98k. He was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class 2 September 1918, the Black Wound Badge 5 June 1918, and the Hindenburg Cross for Combatants 25 March 1935. His WW1 service was on the West Front, 13 November 1916 to 27 July 1917, and from 4 May 1918 to 27 December 1918. He was discharged at the demobilization, 31 March 1919. He had been a Schütze with 2 Company Infanterie regiment 31 Altona. He had been injured by being buried (trench? artillery?) 27 July 1917. The Black Wound Badge document awarded to Musketier Heinrich Neustedt, 5 June 1918, as a member of 1 MMaschineGunn Company Infanterie Regiment Graf Bose (1 Thuringen) 31. With ink stamp and signature of the Major and Commander. The War Service Cross for Combatants document awarded to OG Personalamtsleiter Heinrich Neustedt, OG Industeriehafen Bremen. Awarded 27 Oktober 1944 and has a facsimilie signature of General der Flieger Wolff. This would have been a position in charge of personnel working in the industry-businesses in the Bremen port. Also includes a small 2.5 x 3.5 photo of what sure looks like him in an Army uniform as a private.  These are excellent for teachers and researchers.     SOLD Papers Please! Excellent WWII German Heer (Army) Soldier's served Gebirgs Jaeger Regiment 144 Documents And Letters As A POW! Certified. document & ID group to Max Ascher, who lastly served Gebirgs Jaeger Regiment 144. Ascher was born in 1918. His 1st style Arbeitsbuch was started in 1936. He worked with horses until he was conscripted 30 August 1939. Also includes his girlfriend's 2nd style Arbeitsbuch. Luiza Brill's Arbeitsbuch was started in 1938, and last entry was 1944, when she worked at a leather and textile firm. Ascher was awarded the War Service Cross 2nd Class for Combatants, 14 November 1941, when he was an Obergefreiter with Kl.Kw.Kol. f. Betriebs Stoff 7-173. It is signed by Generalmajor Rudolf von Buenau, as assistant to the commander of Infantry Division 73 (He was nammed commander in November). He had been awarded the Knight's Cross in 1940, and went on to win the Oak Leaves in 1945. Ascher was awarded the Russian Front Medal, 10 September 1942. It is signed by a Lieutenant and the ink stamp is from the 173. Ascher was awarded the Krim Shield, 1 November 1942. The document has the facsimile stamp signature of GFM von Manstein, and the ink stamp of Armee Ober Kdo. 11. Lastly, Ascher was awarded the Black Wound Badge on 24 July 1944 (earned 12 July). The award was made by a staff doctor at military hospital 1-619. At the time, Ascher was a member of 1 Company Gebirgs Jaeger Regiment 144. The 73rd Infantry Division had fought at Kertsch in March 1944, and was destroyed at Sewastopol, May 1944. In June 1944, Gebrigs Jaeger. Regiment 144 was by Moldau, not far from Sewastopol, so makes sense he had been transfered. Also included are two feldpost letters. The one dated February 1944 is from Kraftfahr-Kompanie Infanterie-Divisions-Nachschub-Trupp 173. The one sent 30 July 1944, is from the military hospital. Lastly are 3 Russian POW letters from 1947. He was a prisoner by Moscow. These are excellent for teachers and researchers. During de-Nazification much of this type of material like so many WWII documents was destroyed.  in good condition.     SOLD Original German NSDAP (Nazi)  "DEUTSCHES FRAUENWERK MEMBERSHIP BADGE Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The "Deutsches Frauenwerk" (German Women’s-welfare-organization) was established in September 1933, eventually being absorbed into the "NS Frauenschaft" (National Socialist Women’s-organization). Members were issued lapel badges to distinguish them, this example being a first pattern members’ badge for non-NSDAP personnel.  The alloy badge takes the form of a 32mm tall inverted triangle with a 30mm wide top edge. It features a black enameled central field upon which is a silver mobile sunwheel swastika above a silver "Leben-rune" (Life-rune). The top silvered edge of the badge is wider than the sides and features the red enameled Gothic script "NS.- Frauenwerk". Well marked with embossed the "RZM" logo, beside which is embossed the manufacturer’s code, "M1/154" for maker FRANK & REIF, STUTTGART.). Utilized by pretty much by all the organization of the Third Reich in one form or another. The swastika, (a Sanskrit word meaning “well being”), is an ancient symbol that was utilized in numerous diverse cultures and signified both the cycle of life and the sun. The swastika was also a Nordic rune and the pagan Germanic symbol for Thor, God of Adventurers.  In  good condition double sided large  55"/115"!!! standard cotton bunting style material with separate sewn white disk and screened swastika. We placed a helmet on the flag for size reference.   A fantastic piece of WWII history .
