Original 1930’s German Print Of Adolf Hitler’s Berghof In Original Frame With Maker’s Label Certified

    $495.00
Original 1930's German Print Of Adolf Hitler's Berghof In Original Frame With Maker's Label. A souvenir as it was sold in Berchtesgaden and the Obersalzberg area to tourists visiting where Adolf Hitler had his mountain residence. Hitler purchased Haus Wachenfeld with profits from his book Mein Kampf and lived in it as he bought it until after he became Chancellor of Germany in 1933. He then vastly expanded Haus Wachenfeld and renamed it the Berghof because of its position high on a mountainside at Obersalzberg above the Bavarian town of Berchtesgaden. The dimensions of this period print in its original frame is 8-1/4 x 10-1/4 inches. Many people flocked to the Obersalzberg to try to catch a glimpse of their beloved Fuhrer. Security was surprisingly laxest in the early days and the Pilgrims were offered all kinds of souvenirs and postcards to take home. This is a rare example that survived the De-Nazification process after WWII. It has it's original black frame with hanger and the maker's label on the back dated 1936. Excellent Condition! Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. Certified by The Gettysburg Museum of History. • Very RARE LARGE Original WWII German NSDAP (Nazi) Party Building Eagle Sign SHOT WITH PISTOL Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History

SOLD Very RARE LARGE Original WWII German NSDAP (Nazi) Party Building Eagle Sign SHOT WITH PISTOL Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A very large porcelain building sign marking an official NSDAP (Nazi) Party building. It measures 19.5"/19.5" and is VERY HEAVY. It has the Third Reich German National Eagle with Gothic lettering "NSDAP" that means The National Socialist German Workers' Party, commonly referred to in English as the Nazi Party. Here is the unusual part. It was shot 2x by a low caliber pistol and exhibits bullets dents (see photos) when it was shot the porcelain chipped off. At some point the U.S. Veteran that took the sign repainted the areas that the porcelain chipped off. This was perfectly acceptable at the time. Such restorations were common. We can see that the repainted area was done at least 30 or more years ago. The repaint has spider cracking that takes decades to appear. We have taken into account the old restoration when we priced this artifact. It looks really good, at a few paces away it is barely noticable. We tried to show as many close ups of the paint, the original area, and the bullet dents from both the front and back. We recently pulled this out of a 50 year collection and we 100% guarantee this is an authentic sign. Here is a chance to get a very nice looking authentic sign at a real discount.  Nice example showing the expected minor age and wear overall good but restored condition.  One of the classic desirable collector’s items  from the third Reich in used but good condition.  Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided.  100% Guaranteed to be authentic pre-1945. Sold for historic purposes only. See our other pieces on our web site.  Also note when browsing our web site there are several pages of items, at the bottom of the list look for other page numbers. • RARE Original 1930’s Oil Painting Of Adolf Hitler’s House HAUS WACHENFELD (The Berghof) Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History

SOLD Original 1930's Oil Painting Of Adolf Hitler's House HAUS WACHENFELD (The Berghof) Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A wonderfully executed original oil painting on wood of Hitler's Haus Wachenfeld that later became known as The Berghof. Size is about 13"/18" has the original gold wooden frame. In excellent condition! This painting of Haus Wachenfeld is  almost 80 years old. It was probably sold on the Obersalzberg to visitors who came to see where the Führer lived when not at work. Hitler purchased Haus Wachenfeld with profits from his book Mein Kampf and lived in it as he bought it (as you see it in this painting) until after he became Chancellor of Germany in 1933. He then vastly expanded Haus Wachenfeld and renamed it the Berghof because of its position high on a mountainside at Obersalzberg above the Bavarian town of Berchtesgaden. The realistic style of painting, the mountains and the coloration are all very typical of the area on the Obersalzberg and the goldish-silver frame is extremely typical of the popular frames of the period. Exhibited on most walls this picture would pass for any cabin the mountains almost anywhere, but for those familiar with Haus Wachenfeld and the Obersalzberg, there is no question whatsoever that it is a rare picture of Hitler's alpine mountain home. Good used condition. Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided. Rare 100% Guaranteed to be authentic.  Sold for historic purposes only. • Rare German Document Signed (Autographed) By Hitler, And Blomberg Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History And 3rd Party Certification

SOLD Exceedingly Rare German Document Signed (Autographed) By Hitler, And Blomberg Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History And 3rd Party Certification. This RARE document appoints German Army Officer Karl Heinrich Georg Ferdinand Kreipe  who was abducted by British and Greek agents during WWII. You wanted the best, we give you the best! Mega Rare! Investment quality. Original signatures of Adolf Hitler,  and Werner von Blomberg on a certificate of appointment  with very nice ink signatures by "Adolf Hitler"  and "v.Blomberg" as countersigner. The  sheet is unfolded,  in very good condition. As commander of Infantry Regiment 909 of the 58th Infantry Division, Kreipe participated in the Battle of France and the drive towards Leningrad and fighting in Kuban during Operation Barbarossa. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 13 October 1941. Kreipe remained on the Leningrad front until May 1942, when he was transferred back to Germany, where he took up administrative and teaching positions. In June–October 1943, he was returned to the Eastern Front, where he led the 79th Infantry Division. On 1 March 1944, Kreipe was appointed Commander of the 22nd Air Landing Infantry Division, operating on Crete, replacing General Friedrich-Wilhelm Müller, who had been made the German commander of Crete in Chania.  In the spring of 1944 the Allies hatched a plan to kidnap General Müller, whose harsh repressive measures had earned him the nickname "the Butcher of Crete". Major Patrick Leigh Fermor led the planned operation, assisted by Captain Bill Stanley Moss, Greek SOE agents and Cretan resistance fighters. However General Müller left the island before the plan could be executed. Major Leigh Fermor decided to abduct Kreipe instead. On the night of 26 April 1944 General Kreipe left headquarters in Archanes. The car headed without escort to a well-guarded residence, "Villa Ariadni", about 5 km outside Heraklion. Major Leigh Fermor and Captain Moss, dressed as German military policemen, waited for him 1 km before his residence. When he arrived, they asked the driver to stop and asked for their papers. As soon as the car stopped, Leigh Fermor opened Kreipe's door, jumped in, and threatened him with his pistol, while Moss took the driver's seat. (The abduction is now commemorated near Archanes.)  Moss drove the kidnappers and the General for an hour and a half through 22 controlled road-blocks in Heraklion, before leaving Leigh Fermor to drive on and abandon the car, with material being planted that suggested their escape from the island had been made by submarine. Moss set off with the General on a cross-country march, supported by the Greek resistance, soon rejoined by Leigh Fermor. Hunted by German patrols, the kidnappers crossed the mountains to reach the southern side of the island, where a British Motor Launch (ML 842 commanded by Brian Coleman) was waiting to rendez-vous. Eventually, on 14 May 1944, they were picked up from Peristeres beach near Rhodakino and ferried to Egypt.Kreipe was interrogated, then sent to a POW camp in Canada. Later transferred to a special camp in Wales,Kreipe was finally released from British captivity in 1947. General Kreipe met his kidnappers one more time in 1972 on a Greek television programme. He died at Northeim on 14 June 1976.
