  • Original WWII Waffen SS Combat Helmet From The Battle Of The Bulge Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

SOLD A WWII Waffen SS combat M-42 single decal helmet. This helmet has an EF64 size and a liner with cut chin strap. This was cut from a wounded soldier, more about this later. The helmet has some loss of paint and the liner is stiff from poor storage. This helmet has a fantastic salty been there look. This helmet was bought by us years ago and was traded to a friend and now we have it back. We bought this from the grandson of a U.S. Army Nurse who was sent to the front in the desperate hours of the Battle of the Bulge. As the Germans were finally pushed back some wounded Germans were bring treated. This Army nurse treated a young German Waffen SS soldier and cut his helmet strap to remove this helmet. The patient died of his wounds and the Nurse decided to keep this helmet from the dreaded SS Solider she treated. This is just a family story but an interesting one. The name and photos of the Nurse was promised to us but that never materialized. The helmet was kept in the Nurse's basement so some lose to the liner is evident. Original 1930’s Plate Of Adolf Hitler’s House The Berghof (Haus Wachenfeld)

    $495.00
Original 1930's Plate Of Adolf Hitler's House The Berghof (Haus Wachenfeld). A very rare hand paitned plate of Hitler's House maker marked "Rosenthal Selb Bavaria" with the words "Haus Wachenfeld Obersalzberg". In the early days of Hitler's power people would go to the Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden as tourist to try to catch a gimps of their beloved Fuhrer Adolf Hitler. Security was surprisingly  laxed in the those first few years. Hitler would even go outside and great people sometimes. This all changed as time went on. Many of the hotels and shops in Berchtesgaden would sell souvenirs like this plate. Some were better than others. This plate is exquisite quality. It is hand painted and the glaze is raised giving it a 3-D appearance. Hitler bought the "Haus Wachenfeld that would later be called "The Berghof". This makes this plate's date Early to mid 1930's before the massive renovations that would transform Hitler's "Haus Wachenfeld" to "The Berghof". Most Hitler related items like these were destroyed or thrown away many years ago making this relic very rare.  Nice  example showing the expected but minimal age and wear. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic.
