OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE  NSDAP FLAGS ARE GETTING TOUGHER TO FIND!!!! A note about blood stains. We have handled many blood stained Japanese flags in the past, they are fairly common. This is the only blood stained German flag we have seen. It is difficult to tell 100% if it's blood or something else but it is constant with the look of other blood stained items we have handled. This is most likely from a home or building in German that was destroyed and possibly a person was nearby. The Germans did not routinely carry flags on their person like the Japanese did. The stain pattern looks like the flag was folded or balled up and the stains transferred onto the other parts of the flag. A VERY INTERESTING RELIC!

Original Civil War Model 1855 .58 Caliber U.S. Marked Socket Bayonet Certified

    $289.00
Original Civil War Model 1855 .58 Caliber U.S. Marked Socket Bayonet Certified. U.S. marked socket bayonet originally designed for the Model 1855 musket, use continued for 1861 and 1863 muskets. Socket has an "L" slot and tightening band. Marked "US". The Model 1855 saw action in the Civil War and probably more of these were used than all other bayonets of the period combined. They are typically American in design in that they do not have a blade "shoulder" and have deep fullers, whereas British bayonets of the period had a shoulder and had shallow fullers that stopped at the shoulder of the blade. These are attached by fitting them over the barrel muzzle, and fastened into position by means of a mortise slot and locking ring. All metal construction. These were designed to fit the various US manufactured .58 muskets. The flat is stamped “US”. Locking ring is present and functional. An outstanding example with no pitting or flaws. 100% guaranteed to be authentic Gettysburg Museum certified, museum COA provided.  Also note when browsing our web site there are several pages of items, at the bottom of the list look for other page numbers. • RARE Original 1930’s Color Framed Large “Canvas” Print Of Adolf Hitler’s House The Berghof (Haus Wachenfeld)Certified

SOLD Original 1930’s Color "Canvas" print  Of Adolf Hitler’s House The Berghof (Haus Wachenfeld). A rare color print of Hitler’s home at the Obersalzberg”. In the early days of Hitler’s power people would go to the Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden as tourist to try to catch a gimps of their beloved Fuhrer Adolf Hitler. Security was surprisingly  laxed in the those first few years. Hitler would even go outside and great people sometimes. This all changed as time went on. Many of the hotels and shops in Berchtesgaden would sell souvenirs like this framed print.  Hitler bought the “Haus Wachenfeld that would later be called “The Berghof”. This makes this print's date 1933-35 before the massive renovations that would transform Hitler’s “Haus Wachenfeld” to “The Berghof”. Most Hitler related items like these were destroyed or thrown away many years ago making this print very rare.  The print has been printed onto a textured surface making it look like an oil painting  and it has it's original frame and triangular hanger. Nice  example showing the expected but minimal age and wear.  100% Guaranteed to be authentic. Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. Certified by The Gettysburg Museum of History.
