  • Extremely Rare Extra Large Adolf Hitler’s Personal Silver Double Wine Bucket Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

SOLD Extremely Rare Adolf Hitler's Personal Silver Double Wine Bucket Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. "We drank Hitler's Champagne". One of the rarest of all the Adolf Hitler service silver is the "double Champagne bucket" for 2 bottles to be served together. As far as we know there are only 3 of these that still survive today. Made by WMF or "Wurttenburg Metal Fabrik" most items that were WMF marked were recovered at The Berghof (Hitler's Home) at Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden. The silver bucket has an engraved Hitler National Eagle with a Wreath Swastika and Hitler's personal "AH" monogram on both sides. These were made with both wooden handles like this and more common (but also very rare) metal handles. This is in fact one of the the rarest and the most desirable of all Hitler silver items. This was recovered most likely from the Berghof by a U.S. soldier in May of 1945.  It is in our opinion the best  and most collectible of the Hitler silver. This huge bucket is in good used condition some scratches and smudges. This wine bucket has all the correct maker marks and hallmarks for the piece. The outside surface is bright and polished the bottom and inside has some tarnishing that could be polished if the new owner desires.  Adolf Hitler Silver was the most desirable of all war trophies. Every U.S. soldier wanted to bring home something of Hitler’s. Hitler’s silver was the choice item. Unlike silver eating utensils that had many in a set the large serving pieces where much fewer (and hard to carry). Many U.S. soldiers who where lucky enough to get a hold of Hitler’s silver opted for the less cumbersome eating utensils. Many times only officers or soldiers with access to motor vehicles carried big pieces home. David Webster from "Easy Company" 506 PIR 101st Airborne (Band Of Brothers) wrote an article in the 1950's about drinking Hitler's Champagne and it was portrayed in the series "Band Of Brothers". One of the classic memorable events of the end of WWII. This items was very difficult to photograph because of the bright shine of the silver (it looks much better in person) 100% guaranteed to be authentic complete museum documentation (COA) provided. An amazing historical artifact from the  20th century’s most infamous person Adolf Hitler. Do Not Miss this once in lifetime offering!

Original WWII German Kriegsmarine (Navy) Sports Shirt Large Cloth Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

    $79.00
Original WWII German Kriegsmarine (Navy) Sports Shirt Large Cloth Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The Kriegsmarine, (War Navy), adopted a slightly modified version of the NSDAP’s, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (National Socialist German Worker’s Party), national eagle for wear on the front of the headgear and the right breast of the uniform on March 24TH 1934. Physical fitness of its personnel was a prime concern of the German Wehrmacht, (Armed Forces), including the navy, and each new recruit was issued a specific sport uniform that consisted of a pullover "tank top" style shirt, navy blue or white shorts, athletic shoes and a two piece "sweat suit" type sports uniform. Originally Kriegsmarine personnel wore a fouled anchor insignia on their sports shirts until regulations of August 25TH 1932 introduced a Unit Sports Badge, of an unknown design, that was to be applied to the front center of the sports shirt. On May 3RD 1935 the M35 sports shirt eagle for EM/NCO’s was introduced to replace the previously used Weimar era Reichsmarine, (National Navy, Circa 1919-1933), Unit Sports Badge. Of Note: Following the Kriegsmarine’s lead, on May 14TH 1935 the Army introduced the M35 sports shirt eagle for EM/NCO’s, to replace the previously used Weimar Reichswehr era, (National Defence Force, Circa 1919-1933), Troop Sports Badge. The army’s version of the M35 sports shirt eagle was identical to the Kriegsmarine’s except for coloration, with the army utilizing black eagles while the Kriegsmarine utilized cornflower blue eagles. Very large about 12"/7" cloth Cornflower blue, machine woven, national eagle, with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in it’s talons, to the center. Typical storage wear, good condition.  Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. Certified by The Gettysburg Museum of History. 100% guaranteed to be authentic pre-1945. Original WWII German WAFFEN SS GEBIRGS-DIVISION DER SS “HANDSCHAR” Collar Tab Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

    $249.00
Original WWII German Waffen SS  Waffen-Gebirgs Division Der SS HandscharCollar Tab Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran.  In August 1929 the SS incorporated the wear of rank collar tabs on the left side of the collar and unit collar tabs on the right side of the collar of the service tunic. The SS rank collar tabs were originally adopted from the earlier rank collar tabs as utilized by the SA, Sturmabteilung, (Storm Troops). The SS collar tabs remained in usage through-out the war with a couple of minor alterations and numerous additions. EM/NCO’s collar tabs were piped in twisted white cord from their original inception until to October 1934 when the piping was modified to alternating twisted black and silver/aluminum cord piping. The final modification, in August 1940, eliminated all piping from the EM/NCO’s collar tabs. On February 10TH 1943 Hitler ordered the formation of a new Waffen-SS Division to be manned by volunteers from the Independent State of Croatia. This new division would eventually evolve into the 13.Waffen-Gebirgs-Division der SS "Handschar" (kroat.Nr.1), and was primarily manned from Moslems from the Bosnia-Herzegovina region of Croatia, with a cadre of German personnel from the 7. SS-Freiwillingen-Gebirgs-Division "Prinz Eugen". Due to the racial makeup of the divisional personnel Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler forbade wear of the SS runes on the collar insignia and it was decided that another suitable symbol be utilized and the distinctive collar insignia for divisional personnel was introduced on April 30TH 1943. Of Note: It is believed that SS-Obergruppenführer Gottlob Berger came up with the design of the collar tab and the name "Handschar". The "Handschar" refers to the scimitar featured on the collar tab and is meant to represent the blade carried by Turkish police in the Balkan region for centuries and was also featured on the Bosnian coat-of-arms during the reign of the Hapsburg Empire.   Black wool construction, right hand side, unit designation collar tab featuring a machine embroidered hand clutching a scimitar, with a canted swastika positioned just below the blade, all in silvery/grey cotton threads. The collar tab is mounted on a buckram backing. Superb, untouched original. . In excellent condition. A very reasonable price for an SS item.  Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. SOLD Original WWII German SS Sports Shirt Patch With RZM Cloth Tag Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler’s obsession with pagan runic symbolism manifested itself in runic emblems used by the SS, Schutz Staffel, (Protection Squad), the most famous of which was the dual sig-runes used on the collar tabs, helmets decals and sports shirts of the SS. The dual sig-runes design was initiated by SS-Sturmhauptführer and graphic artist Walter Heck in May 1933, who sold his design to the SS for 2.50 Reichs Marks.
