Tim Montana

Advisory Board

Musician, Advocate for Veterans and American Stories

Tim Montana is more than a chart-topping musician — he’s a storyteller shaped by grit, gratitude, and a deep respect for those who serve. Raised in the mountains of Montana, Tim learned early the value of hard work, loyalty, and patriotism. Those roots run deep in both his music and his mission, inspiring him to use his voice to celebrate the real heroes — the men and women who’ve worn the uniform and sacrificed for freedom.

Over the years, Tim has helped raise millions of dollars for veterans and military families through benefit concerts, fundraisers, and special projects across the country. Whether performing on stage, organizing community events, or lending his time and energy behind the scenes, Tim is committed to making a real difference in the lives of those who’ve served. His passion for giving back is driven by gratitude — for the country he loves and the people who defend it.

When he isn’t lighting up stages, Tim Montana is right back home in Wise River, Montana—living life with his wife and four children, immersed in the rhythms of family and frontier. There he co-owns the historic Wise River Club (the 1896 lodge, bar & restaurant) which he purchased alongside Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top fame—bringing a rock-and-roots spirit to Montana’s Big Hole Valley. And when the scrim falls, Tim steps into another role: actor. He recently filmed the western feature The Unholy Trinity alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Pierce Brosnan, marking a bold expansion of his creative terrain—from guitar riffs to cowboy boots and camera sets.
