    Original Civil War Period Allen And Thurber (Worcester) .36 Caliber Pepperbox Revolver. The overall look fantastic! Very nice working condition. Many times these are not in working condition. This is a deluxe engraved version and the grips are great!  Pepperbox's are among the most collectible Civil War side arms and are always in demand in any condition. A choice functioning display pistol.     Civil War Period  (about .30 Caliber)  pin fire  Lefaucheux revolver Antique Pistol. In  Working good condition Civil War period  pistol . There is  no  numbers so it is impossible to accurately date this one. Most likely  1850's to Early Civil War. It is a standard  version with  wood grips.   This gun's spring is very tight and does work and does  cock and fire but the  trigger must be pushed forward while cocking.  the grips are very nice.   The ejector lever is gone.     A massive steel knife with clip corner 11" blade 15" overall! Civil War period from a collection in Georgia. Nice untouched uncleaned attic patina. Knife is very sharp still and the blade is fairly thin compared to some examples. Early Civil War Confederate style clip point with original wooden handle. Many early war Confederate soldiers took massive Bowie knives with them but as the war dragged on they became less prevalent due to their uselessness.     SOLD Original Civil War Colt .31 Caliber 1849 Pocket Model Revolver Matching Numbers. A "well loved" Colt pocket model. Matching serial numbers dates this to 1862. The overall look is good and it's in good condition on the surface. Mechanically This gun needs work, a spring adjustment should fix it. The cylinder does not revolve on it's own. The gun cocks and fires but the trigger needs to be pushed forward. The loading lever catch is missing. 2 of the 6  nipples need replaced. The handle was used (as so many combat used guns) as a hammer. This is what we would call a reparable "wall hanger" for display. It is priced accordingly.     Very Rare VMM Volunteer Maine Militia Full Size Excavated Cartridge Box Plate

    Very Rare VMM Volunteer Maine Militia Full Size Excavated Cartridge Box Plate. A scarce and very desirable Civil War 1861 Maine state box plate. These were issued to the very early Maine Volunteers and were replaced later with standard U.S. plates. The older Vet's coveted these plates and wore them throughout the Civil War. This is excavated (dug) plate with a deep green patina and some loss due to a shovel strike by the digger. Both hooks are gone. This plate was very difficult to photograph due to the deep patina. It look much better in person. The recovery location is unknown but is most likely Virginia.     SOLD Outstanding Original Civil War Cartridge Box With Sling, Tins, Eagle Breast Plate, And SNY New York Box Plate. Original leather early war cartridge box in excellent condition. The leather is soft and flexible with minor surface cracking (see photos). The original tins are still in the box. The belt loops are solider removed. The box has an excellent original New York box plate (SNY) with a beautiful light patina. The leather sling is in very, very nice condition very soft and flexible with minor surface cracking (see photos). The sling has a repaired break at the tip where the roller buckles are and is fixed to the box for display (see pics) displays very well and is barley noticeable.  Most cartridge boxes being 155 years old are dry and cracking this one is not.
