Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) 1935 NATIONAL PARTY DAY BADGE. (Reichsparteitagabzeichen) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. A 39mm diameter, solid cast tombac badge. To its obverse is an eagle with a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons, underneath of which is the forward-facing, disembodied head of Hitler, with the helmeted, profiled head of a soldier to the right, and the kepi-wearing head of an S.A. man to the left. This presumably symbolizes the union of the party and the armed forces. “Reichsparteitag 1935” is embossed to the bottom of the badge, Complete pin and catch assembly. Maker marked example. Very nice crisp details, attractive badge. Nice! lightly worn example; in overall good condition some slight wear (see photos). Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided.
