Herman Goering’s Personally Owned/Used Silver Table Knife Recovered By A U.S. Solider Certified. A large silver table knife made by master silversmith J.A. Henckels Solingen with Herman Goering’s Personal family coat of arms crest. This is the pattern that is attributed to his home on the Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden. This house was damaged by Allied bombers just before the it was captured by U.S. and French forces in May 1945. Most of this pattern of Goering silver is attributed to 101st Airborne soldiers but the exact Veteran who took this was not documented.
