Original EXTREMELY RARE ORIGINAL HUGE GAULEITER EDITION OF HITLER’S ‘MEIN KAMPF’ By Adolf Hitler Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. giant ‘Gauleiter edition’ of Adolf Hitler’s political manifesto ‘Mein Kampf’. Its size is 15-1/2 x 20-3/4 x 3 inches (398 x 528 x 76 mm), We placed a normal size Mein Kampf book next to it (see photos) Also it weights about 25 pound! MASSIVE! published by the Zentralverlag der NSDAP. It bears the usual 1925-27 copyright date but was in actuality produced in only perhaps less than one hundred copies in the 1930s. This unique limited oversize edition was a gift to the 44 Gauleiters (NSDAP district leaders) and 21 Reichsleiters in Germany, Austria, and German controlled territories. The volume is extravagantly bound in white vellum over wood boards, with pages gilded at the top and bottom. The Reichsadler (State Eagle) and lettering on the front cover and spine are gilt-stamped, as is a trio of oak leaves at the top and bottom of the spine together with Hitler’s name and ‘Mein Kampf’ The book is held closed by two metal hasps secured by pins attached to the front cover. The book is not named, the interior has no writing or inscriptions or anything. Interior is near mint. Only the cover was damaged. The National Library in Poland did us a favor and did the restoration. The clasps were replaced since the originals were gone. This is the most desirable and rarest of all editions of ‘Mein Kampf” In the rare book world slight restorations are perfectly acceptable, This one was made to Museum specifications.  Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided.
