Shown here is Hitler’s head with his mouth open as if yelling. Hitler aligned himself with Italy’s Fascist leader, Benito Mussolini, and later Emperor Hirohito of Japan to form a triad that became known as the Axis Powers. Together their forces occupied much of Europe and the Pacific before being brought down by the Allied nations.
