Original WWII Deluxe Nazi German Multi-Piece Construction   Armband WITH RZM TAG Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. In excellent (Almost Mint) Condition!   Deluxe version of the Nazi Arm Band.   The most recognizable pieces of insignia associated with the Nazi regime is the swastika armband. Utilized by pretty much by all the organization of the Third Reich in one form or another. The swastika, (a Sanskrit word meaning “well being”), is an ancient symbol that was utilized in numerous diverse cultures and signified both the cycle of life and the sun. The swastika was also a Nordic rune and the pagan Germanic symbol for Thor, God of Adventurers.   A   high quality wool cloth materiel. approximately 9cm diameter   rayon   blend white disk, and high quality multi-piece   swastika. Still has the original paper RZM TAG!  VERY high quality example. A very good earlier example. It does have some thread from where it was sewn to a uniform visible (see photos) so it was used and has a tiny pin hole (see photo) otherwise mint! Some enterprising G.I. stamped it “Germany 1945” we have never seen this before! We have a few from the same Vet. We think this adds to the history of this artifact!
