VERY RARE AND HISTORIC Rudolf Hess Signed (Hand Autographed) Dedicated And Signed Book To General Major Hermann Reinecke. Certified.  RUDOLF HESS (1894-1987) Nazi German Deputy Fuhrer and second in command after Goring, Hess was one of Hitler’s closest confidantes and friends. In an unauthorized peace mission, Hess flew a German fighter to England and surrendered, purportedly attempting to ally Germany with Great Britain against Russia. His mission, of course, failed and Hess was imprisoned at Spandau where he was found hanged in 1987. Rudolf Hess dedicated and signed book to OKW General Major Hermann Reinecke. Hermann Reinecke was a German general and war criminal during the Nazi era. As head of the General Office of the Armed Forces in the OKW(Supreme Command of the Wehrmacht) during World War II, he was a major contributor to the prisoner-of-war policy that resulted in the deaths of approx. 3.3 million Soviet prisoners.
