It is A massive  building banner size about 44″ /117″ single sided NSDAP (Nazi) Party  flag.  Made of  thick cotton bunting type cloth and with  multi piece construction and screened swastika. It  a loop on the top to attach to a flag pole. Both sides are in  very good condition. This is one of the most outstanding excellent condition flags we have had in a while with only mild stains. If you want an almost mint example and condition is a factor this is a good one for you. We placed a helmet on the flag for a size reference.     OUT OF  STOCK Original WWII German DLR Bronze Sports Badge Brought Home By A U.S. Soldier. (German National Elite), sports badge in two grades of Gold and Bronze for award to males who had successfully passed the national physical fitness tests. The die struck bronze badge is in the form of an embossed, vertically oval, oak-leaf wreath with a bow with superimposed canted swastika to the bottom center. The wreath encompasses ornate, stylized, nicely detailed, cut-out initials, "DRL". The scooped back reverse has a solid soldered hinge, a flat vertical pin and a heavy soldered catch all intact. The reverse is well marked with embossed manufacturers name and location.  in good condition with minor storage wear to the medal. Offering is for one (1) medal.   • Original German Mother’s Cross Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter In Silver

    SOLD Original German Mother's Cross Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter In silver. The Mother’s Cross was introduced by Adolf Hitler on December 16TH 1938 as part of a large propaganda campaign aimed at increasing the birth rate. The award was officially designated, Honor Cross of the German Mother, and was instituted in three grades to recognize and reward child bearing German females. The three grades consisted of the bronze cross for bearing four or five children, the silver cross for bearing six or seven children and the gold cross for bearing eight or more children. Criteria for the award included that the parents be of pure German blood, and that the mother was worthy of such an honor. two piece, stamped tombac award with a silver wash and blue and white enamel work. Award in the form of a Christian cross with outward fluted arms in semi-translucent blue enamel with white enamel border. Cross has a raised sunburst pattern emanating between its arms. Separate central circular field with white enamel base and black static swastika, encompassed by a circular border with embossed Latin script, "Der Deutschen Mutter", (The German Mother). Reverse has impressed simulated handwritten script, "16 December 1938", and facsimile Hitler signature.  Section of original ribbon is also included.     SOLD Original WWII Period NSDAP (Nazi) Cloth Double Sided Parade Pennant Banner.  With a deep understanding of pageantry and symbolism, and its propaganda and psychological effectiveness, the NSDAP went to great lengths to reinforce their political party to the general populace of Germany, with repetitive slogans and the omnipresent use of the swastika. Swastikas adorned flags, banners and pennants and were utilized at every possible opportunity. This type of cloth pennant was placed on vehicles  during parades and event.  A multi-piece cotton construction pennant, 12 inches across with a 6 inch tall hoist edge. Sewn to either side of its dual-ply red field are 2.5" diameter white disks, each with a black chain stitched mobile swastika. It has two metal loops for attaching to pole.     SOLD Original WWII Era Early 1936 German Police Belt Buckle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. 1936, Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler was appointed to the newly created position of Chef der Deutschen Polizei im Reichsministerium des Innern, (Chief of the German Police in the National Ministry of the Interior), effectively giving him full control of all police agencies within Germany. 1936 pattern, silver washed, two piece, aluminum construction, police NCO’s, box belt buckle features a pebbled base field with a central, circular, embossed, motif. The textured relief, central, circular motif features a slightly textured background field with an embossed, smooth finished, canted, swastika, encompassed by a slightly textured, circular field with an embossed, open topped, oak-leaf wreath to the bottom and the embossed, Gothic script motto to the top, "Gott mit uns", (God with us).     Original WWII German Hitler Youth PROFICIENCY BADGE IN SILVER Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. The Proficiency Badge of the HJ, was instituted  on May 1ST 1934 as an incentive for HJ members to increase their proficiency in military oriented athletics, academics, field exercises, and shooting. The badge was established in three grades of Silver, Bronze and Iron.  The stamped, polished alloy award is in the form of a Tyr-rune with a circle superimposed to it, upon which is embossed, in runic script, "Für Leistungen In Der H.J." (For Proficiency In The H.J.), encompassing a mobile swastika. To the age darkened reverse is a raised RZM mark, "M1/34" indicating manufacture by Karl Wurster Markneukirchen and a six-digit serial number. The pin-back device is intact.     SOLD   Original WWII DJ, Deutsche Jungvolk, (German Youth) Badge Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran.  The DJ, Deutsche Jungvolk, (German Youth), originated in Vienna Austria in 1929, and was eventually to become the young branch of the HJ (Hitler youth), for boys from 10 to 14 years old.  Early, second pattern DJ membership badge. The roughly 20mm diameter, die struck alloy badge with dual colored enamel work. The badge features a central sigrune on a translucent red enamel circular field with the typical, underlying pebbled field. The sigrune is encompassed by "arms", emanating outwards in all four directions on a black enameled field. The sigrune is also flanked by the initials, "DJ". Complete with original pin back device.     SOLD Original Adolf Hitler CHANCELLERY OF THE FÜHRER Plate Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. This 240mm or 9-1/2 inch diameter dinner plate once belonged to the in-ventory of the Neue Reichskanzlei (New Reichschancellery), the impres-sive residence of the Chancellor of the German Third Reich, Adolf Hitler, built 1938 in record time in Voss-Strasse / Berlin by Albert Speer. There were two different sets of china used in the Reichschancellery: one official set with golden State Eagle and Hitlers initials AH that was used for state dinners and this set which was used on a daily basis. It was made by the well known Johann Seltmann company in Bavaria, Germany. The plate has no chips or cracks and is in excellent condition.  Brought home by a U.S. Veteran as a trophy of war.  Hitler Reichschancellery plates are very rare, most were trashed by the Russians.     Original WWII Gold German Political Leaders Belt Buckle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. The circular Political Leader’s buckle was introduced in 1940, a double open-claw buckle having been used prior to that and, prior to 1934, the SA buckle. A stamped, gold-washed aluminum belt buckle features a spread-winged eagle with a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons. Encircling the eagle is a wreath of oak leaves, which the eagle’s wings extend into. To its solid, concave reverse is a buckle catch, opposite of which is crimped a keeper in the form of an open, vertical rectangle. Seen from the obverse, the inner bar of the keeper is decorated with an oak leaf motif. Scarce Luftwaffe pattern national eagle was originally introduced for wear by Fliegerschaft, (Pilot Base), personnel of the DLV, Deutscher Luftsportsverband, (German Air Sports Association). The insignia consists of an, inverted triangular, woven, black cotton base with a machine embroidered Luftwaffe style eagle in flight, clutching a canted swastika in one talon, positioned below machine embroidered Latin script, "L. Bau.", indicating Air Force Construction, all in silvery/grey rayon threads. The eagle is very similar to the standard Luftwaffe eagle but is facing to its right as opposed to its left.     Original WWII German Army Infantry Officer's Collar Tabs Uniformed Removed By U.S. Veteran. The use of collar ornamentation on military uniforms was utilized by numerous assorted nations with the main function being the indication of the wearers rank and/or branch of service. During the Third Reich era collar tabs for company and field grade Officers ranks underwent two minor alterations with the main modification being in the material and the form of construction utilized. The company and field grade Officers style collar tabs were worn in matching pairs by the ranks of Leutnant to Oberst The collar tabs feature hand embroidered litzen in bright silver/aluminum wire threads with white rayon branch of service stripes mounted on a dark blue/green badge cloth bases. The blue/green badge cloth bases show through as the center stripe of the litzen. The bases are mounted on buckram backings. Removed from a uniform.     Original WWII German SCHUTZPOLIZEI DES REICHS (Police) NCO'S Sleeve Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran.  NCO ranks of Unterwachtmeister to Hauptwachtmeister, (equivalent to the army ranks of Unteroffizier & Oberfeldwebel, respectively), wore the sleeve insignia in the appropriate branch of service color while Officer’s ranks from Polizei Meister to Oberst wore the insignia in bright silver and the ranks of Generalmajor to Generaloberst wore gilt insignia.     Original WWII German Luftwaffe M35 Sports Shirt Eagle brought Home By A U.S. Veteran.  Physical fitness of its personnel was a prime concern of the German Wehrmacht, (Armed Forces), and each new recruit was issued a specific sport uniform that consisted of a white pullover "tank top" style shirt, navy blue shorts, black or green swim trunks and athletic shoes. Additional sports wear was optional. The Luftwaffe pattern national eagle was originally introduced for wear by Fliegerschaft personnel on August 18TH 1934, and adopted for wear by the Luftwaffe on March 1ST 1935. The first pattern national eagle was utilized until a modified second pattern eagle was introduced in late 1936 or early 1937. The sports shirt eagle was introduced on July 4TH 1935 to be worn on the front center of the sports shirt. The insignia consists of a roughly, 12cm, 27cm wide, woven, white, rayon, inverted triangular base with a black, machine woven, second pattern, (circa 1936/1937-1945), Luftwaffe eagle, with out-stretched wings to the center. The eagles wingspan is roughly, 21cm wide from tip to tip.     Outstanding WWII German Infantry EM/NCO Visor Hat Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran

    Outstanding WWII German Infantry EM/NCO Visor Hat Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran.  Visor caps were a standard issue item for all personnel during the Third Reich period and regulations dictated the form of dress they were to be worn with based on the individuals rank. Regulations for wear of the visor cap by EM/NCO ranks dictated that they be worn with the Reporting and Walking-Out dress, and the Undress uniform. Regulations also required Senior NCO’s to wear the visor cap with the Service uniform. Nice quality, private purchase, visor cap with a field-grey wool body and crown and a blue/green badge cloth centerband with white wool waffenfarbe to the crown edge and both the top and bottom edges of the centerband. The front center of the cap has a silver washed, stamped aluminum, second pattern, national eagle. The front center of the centerband has a second pattern, stamped, polished natural aluminum, oak-leaf wreath encompassing a three piece, high relief, national tri-color cockade. The cap has a blackened patent leather chinstrap intact with two, black painted, rectangular, sheet metal retaining clips and two black painted, vertically oval, sliding length adjustment buckles. The chinstrap is secured to the cap by two, small, smooth finish, black painted, magnetic sheet metal buttons. The cap has an extended, black lacquered vulcanfibre visor with a subtly raised lip at the forward edge. Visor has some slight cracking on the very surface (see photos)  the visor is still firmly held in place. The interior of the cap is fully lined in green rayon and has its original celluloid sweat diamond intact. The interior of the cap also has a complete original erstaz paper sweatband that has a bit of staining from sweat (see photos) size 56.     Excellent Original WWII German Luftwaffe M-35 Ex Double Decal Helmet Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. This helmet had a rare 1st pattern eagle but was sent to the factory for reissue. It was covered by a 2nd pattern eagle. Also had a tri-colored shield now covered. The sheet steel construction helmet retains about 87% of its smooth, Luftwaffe blue/grey paint. The left side of the helmet has a second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal which is retained 65%. The right side is covered.  All three liner retaining rivets and both inset ventilation bushings are all intact. The interior of the helmet has a tan leather, M31 liner. All the liner fingers are complete. The reverse interior neck guard apron is serial number stamped, "3642" and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturers code and size, "ET64", indicating manufacture by Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz, size 64. Comes with original maker marked chinstrap dated 1938.     Back In  Stock Original WWII German Eastern Front or "Russian Front" Medal Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. Russian front "frozen Meat Medal" was the slang term for this award. The Russian Front Medal was instituted by Adolf Hitler on May 26TH 1942 to commemorate the first winter campaign in Russia. The award was available to all Wehrmacht personnel, civilians and foreign volunteers who met the required criteria with the main qualification being at least fourteen days of participation in combat on the Russian front. Die struck, alloy construction, medal with a silver washed outer rim and helmet, and a blued center. The obverse of the medal features a recessed outer rim with an embossed helmet and stick grenade to the top center and a high relief Wehrmacht style national eagle with down swept wings, clutching a static swastika in its talons which is superimposed on a laurel leaf sprig to the center. The reverse of the medal features a recessed outer rim with a smooth background field with embossed Latin script to the center, "Winterschlacht Im Osten 1941/42", (Winter Battle in the East 1941/42), above a crossed sword and laurel leaf sprig. The medal loop and the ribbon suspension ring are both intact. We recently obtained a large collection of German medals brought home by a U.S. Solider as war trophies. Well marked.     OUT OF  STOCK Original German Mother's Cross Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter In Bronze. The Mother’s Cross was introduced by Adolf Hitler on December 16TH 1938 as part of a large propaganda campaign aimed at increasing the birth rate. The award was officially designated, Honor Cross of the German Mother, and was instituted in three grades to recognize and reward child bearing German females. The three grades consisted of the bronze cross for bearing four or five children, the silver cross for bearing six or seven children and the gold cross for bearing eight or more children. Criteria for the award included that the parents be of pure German blood, and that the mother was worthy of such an honor. two piece, stamped tombac award with a bronze wash and blue and white enamel work. Award in the form of a Christian cross with outward fluted arms in semi-translucent blue enamel with white enamel border. Cross has a raised sunburst pattern emanating between its arms. Separate central circular field with white enamel base and black static swastika, encompassed by a circular border with embossed Latin script, "Der Deutschen Mutter", (The German Mother).     Fantastic WWII German Luftwaffe M-40 Factory Re-issue Single Decal Helmet With U.S. Veteran Provenance. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains about 95% of its  rough textured, field-grey over-paint with a few scrapes and scuffs to the original, underlying Luftwaffe blue/grey paint and the base steel with minor surface spotting. The left side of the helmet has a Luftwaffe eagle decal which has been scratched during storage (see photos) .   All three liner retaining rivets are intact and tight. The interior of the helmet has an almost mint light  tan,  leather liner with all eight of its fingers and the original tie string intact. The liner shows only storage wear to the edges, light age and  toning. The liner has a dark black size ink stamp. This helmet was sent back to the factory and re-issued with a rough texture overpaint. It was never used after going back to the factory. there is even one of the vent holes in the liner still retaining one of the pre-punched holes in the leather. This helmet was brought home by U.S. Army Airforce Sgt. John Deere of the 100th Bomb Group 8th Air-force. Deere was shot down during a bombing run and was captured toward the end of the war. He did however mange to get this helmet after his release. His story is documented in the book "Heroes Next Door" (see photo). Cap features fold down side and back panels with scalloped front with two pebbled button closure. Cloth covered visor with pliable internal stiffener. Visor has a single row of reinforcement stitching to bottom forward edge and raised lip at top of forward edge. Machine woven national eagle in matte mouse grey threads, with national tri-color cockade, on a woven green rayon base. Insignia is neatly stitched to front center of cap. The German soldier (or U.S. Veteran who obtained it) placed a metal Army (Heer) eagle over the original cloth eagle.     Original WWII German Army (Heer) Cold Weather Sheep Skin Hat U.S. Veteran Bring Back. Nice quality, multi-panel, patch work, whitened sheep skin construction winter cap with the natural hide to the exterior and the white sheep’s wool to the interior. The front center of the cap has a, machine embroidered, Heer Army eagle in light green threads on a cut-out Army green base with a separate machine embroidered, national tri-color cockade situated just below eagle. The cap features fold down side and back panels with the panels held in position at the top of the cap by a thread loop and a corresponding tie string. When the side and back panels are in the upright position the sheep’s wool is visible to the exterior. The back and side panels were designed to be folded down to protect the wearer’s ears and neck and the panels could be secured with the fabric loop tie closed under the wearer’s chin as required. This was a combat worn example brought home by a US veteran.     Original WWII German Helmet Recovered Near Brecourt Manor Normandy D-Day Band Of Brothers. A fantastic relic in good condition, M-40 German helmet with liner and chinstrap. No decal and some of the paint has worn off from decades of handling (see photos). This was an early battlefield pickup and was in an older French collection. It was recovered at the hamlet of La Grand Chemin just outside of St. Marie Du Mont and next to Brecourt Manor. This is where "Easy Company" of the 101st Airborne (Band of Brothers) gathered just before the assault on the German battery at Brecourt Manor led by Lt. Dick Winters. A true D-Day relic with complete provenance.  Obtained by The Gettysburg Museum many years ago from a local collector in Normandy. here is a rare chance to own a real D-Day helmet from the 101st Airborne area.  100% Guaranteed to be authentic and untouched. Eagle decal is retained about 85%. All three liner retaining rivets are all intact. Age and use streched liner is there and in good condition.     Original WWII German M16 Transitional Army Helmet Painted By U.S. Vet As A Trophy Helmet. Factory re-furbished construction Austrian M16 helmet retains part of it's  field-grey over-paint. The left side of the helmet has an Wehrmacht eagle decal which is retained about 95%. The two forward liner retaining rivets, both of the extended ventilation side lugs and both of the early chinstrap retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a tan leather liner that is complete and has some condition issues (see photos). It has an unusual transitional chin strap. The art is painted by a U.S Veteran of the 1st Army with the First Army insignia and the European countries the First Army went through. An excellent historical helmet.   Shows the expected age, but overall excellent condition. Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided
