    Original WWII German Infantry Assault Badge In Sliver Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The Infantry Assault Badge in silver was introduced on December 20TH 1939 by Generaloberst Walther von Brauchitsch, for award to Officers, and EM/NCO's of non-motorized, Infantry and Mountain Infantry units. Criteria for the award varied, with the main qualification being participation in three separate Infantry assaults. Of Note: On June 1ST 1940 a bronze version of the Infantry Assault Badge was introduced for award to Officer's, and EM/NCO's of Motorized Infantry units.  Die struck, solid backed, zinc construction badge with a silver washed finish features an embossed, vertically oval, oak-leaf wreath with a Wehrmacht style eagle with down-swept wings, clutching a canted swastika in its talons, superimposed to the top center, encompassing a cut-out, bolt action, rifle with a fixed bayonet and a sling. The reverse has a crimped, soldered hinge, a thin, round, vertical, pin and a soldered catch. functions perfectly. Very nice!.  in good condition slight patina on the zinc.     Scarce Original WWII German Iron Cross 1939 Stick Pin Certified. s with most military and civilian awards of the Third Reich period miniature version lapel pins were permitted for wear on civilian clothing. These miniature awards were private purchase items and could only be purchased by individuals with the proper ownership documentation. General regulations, with a few minor exceptions, permitted wear of three miniature awards at one time but prohibited the mixing of military and civilian awards on one lapel pin. Nice quality, die struck alloy, exact detailed miniatures of the Iron Cross. The Iron Cross feature a blackened center with embossed, silver canted swastika and date, "1939" and silver washed outer "frame". . Reverse has its vertical 40mm stickpin intact. Not maker marked.     Original WWII German Combat Used Wehrmacht (Army) Belt  Buckle Brought Home By A U.S. Soldier Certified. Early, (circa 1936-1940), injection molded construction, natural aluminum box buckle with a pebbled background field and a slightly domed, embossed central motif. The central motif features an embossed Wehrmacht style eagle with down swept wings on a subtly pebbled field to the center, encompassed by an embossed oak-leaf cluster to the bottom and script, "Gott Mit Uns", (God with Us), to the top. The oak-leaf cluster and script are on a ribbed background field and are encircled by both an inner and outer simulated twisted rope border. The reverse has the integral, raised, slotted buckle catch and separate prong bar and prongs all intact. A good example  in good but worn condition has a few pushes in the face (see photos) .     SOLD Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) Enlisted/NCO Breast Eagle (Hoheitsabzeichen) Certified.  The Luftwaffe pattern national eagle was originally introduced for wear by Fliegerschaft, (Pilot Base), personnel of the DLV, Deutscher Luftsportsverband, (German Air Sports Association), the clandestine, civilian, forerunner of the Luftwaffe on August 18TH 1934 and was officially adopted for wear by all Luftwaffe personnel on March 1ST 1935. The original first pattern national eagle was utilized until a, slightly modified, second pattern national eagle was introduced in late 1936 or early 1937. Regulations dictated that the national eagle was to be worn on almost all headgear and on the right breast of almost all uniforms with a few minor exceptions. Machine embroidered, second pattern, (Circa 1936/1937-1945), Luftwaffe eagle, clutching a canted swastika in one talon, in silvery/grey rayon threads on a cut-out Luftwaffe blue/grey wool base.     Original WWII German SA (Hitler's Brown Shirts) Belt And Buckle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The SA, meant "Sturmabteilung" (Storm-troops), Brown Shirts. The 55mm x 40mm,  slightly convex, stamped brass, one-piece construction buckle features, to its obverse, a plain field upon which is an embossed, political-style national eagle clutching the laurel surround to a mobile swastika on a slightly domed, plain field. The eagle’s head falls on the inside of a ribbed border with simulated twisted rope trim to its inner and outer edges. The ribbed border, which is 32mm in outside diameter, has a spray of oak leaves to its base, with the eagle’s wings extending into it at the top. To the reverse is its raised buckle catch, and a prong bar with dual prongs, for the belt’s retaining tongue .  Has a very nice parade style belt.     Original WWII German Rail Road Eagle Removed From A Train Car By A U.S. Veteran Certified. This is an excellent condition totally genuine German World War Two rail road eagle used to attach to the front of locomotives and box cars during the reign of the Third Reich. It measures 27 inches across and 13 inches tall which is generally refereed to as a 27  inch eagle and a standard size for locomotive eagles. The mounting bolts were ground away with clear files marks remaining and others were broken off when removed. he reverse is marked in the center of the eagle with the compound elements which reads; GAL-Mg-Si (Gal=Galvanized Aluminum, Mg=Magnesium, Si=Silicon) and as well as the abbreviations RZA 4 Zug Adler (Train Eagle 4), and BLN = Berlin. Do not get fooled by the many replicas being offered. This is a 100% Museum certified ORIGINAL Eagle that was taken off a train by a U.S. Veteran. This is a "one looker" as we say!     SOLD Outstanding German NSDAP (Nazi Party) DRKB/NS-RKB VISOR CAP Certified. The DRKB, Deutscher Reichskriegerbund (Kyffhäuserbund), (German National Association of Veterans, Kyffhäuser Association), was formed during WWI, and was based on the DKB, Deutscher Kriegerbund (German Veterans Association), originally formed after the war of 1870-71. The addition of "Kyffhäuser" in the associations name referred to the Kyffhäuser mountain where a large war memorial had been erected. The goal of the association was to preserve the morale and comradeship of former soldiers and to financially assist its members if required. On March 29TH 1938 the DRKB was renamed NS-RKB, Nationalsozialistische-Reichskriegerbund, (National Socialist-State Soldiers League), by the NSDAP and amalgamated with most of the earlier veterans associations into one national organization. Uniform and headgear regulations of the DRKB/NS-RKB were introduced.  A 1936 pattern, deep navy blue wool construction visor cap. Fixed to the forward seem is a Notional  a cockade and a gilt washed, stamped alloy, oak-leaf wreath encompassing a third pattern DRKB insignia, as introduced in late 1935. The insignia consists of a gilt washed alloy oval with the embossed black silhouette of the Kyffhäuserbund monument, on a white field, surmounting a red field with a black mobile swastika on a white circular field.. The black rayon center band features machine embroidered mobile swastikas alternating with shields, within which are “Kyffhäuser” monuments (a monument to a united Germany located in Saxony). Fixed by the black-painted, convex metal buttons positioned over each ear is a blackened leather chin strap, with two black-painted metal adjusting buckles along its length. The interior of the cap is fully lined in mid-blue rayon, and features a tan leather sweatband. Ink stamped, in silver, to a celluloid diamond sewn to the interior crown is nicely maker marked.  size marked 59. Cap is Excellent, near mint.     SOLD Original German NSDAP (Nazi Party) RBD, "Reichsbahndirektion" (National-railway-directorate) Sleeve Eagle Certified. This insignia, introduced in September of 1941, was the sleeve eagle that was utilized to differentiate between the four German Railway directorates, namely, the WVD, "Wehrmacht Verkehrsdirektion" (Armed-forces Traffic-directorate), the RVD, "Reichsverkersdirektion" (National-traffic-directorate), the HVD, "Hauptverkehrsdirektion" (Central-traffic-directorate), and the RBD, "Reichsbahndirektion" (National-railway-directorate). These four directorates were further broken down into divisions based on important railway yards or areas. Of Note: These sleeve eagles with directorate and location replaced the previously used, short lived, separate sleeve eagle and cufftitle with the directorate and location. A machine woven, right facing eagle with outstretched wings and a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons, positioned above the arching script, "RBD Nürnberg." All of the threads are bright golden-yellow, against a half-moon shaped, woven black base, which is still on its section of black rayon factory roll. The wear of Awards, Medal Bars and Ribbon Bars were addressed in regulations of April 28TH 1937 and followed established directives that had been previously laid down. When an award was instituted the introductory orders would prescribe the proper form of wear with most of the awards being permitted to be grouped together on a medal or ribbon bar. The medal bars were intended for wear on the walking-out dress and formal uniforms, while the ribbon bars were intended for all other forms of dress. Strict regulations listed the required order in which ribbons awards were authorized to be worn on the ribbon bar. A three  place bar with An Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939,  A war merit cross 2nd class with Swords, and A Air Defence medal, Complete with pin-back device. Frauenschaft" (National Socialist Women’s-organization) was formed by absorbing the earlier "Deutsches Frauenwerk" (German Women’s-welfare-organization), and the "Deutscher Frauenorden" (German Women’s-order), into a single national organization. The first pattern Frauenschaft member’s badge followed the design of the earlier "Deutscher Frauenorden" badge as introduced in the mid-1920s, with minor variations. In 1938 the first pattern badge was replaced with a modified second pattern member’s badge, which followed the design of the earlier "Deutsches Frauenwerk" badge. The alloy badge takes the form of a 30mm tall inverted triangle with a 29mm wide top edge. It features a black enamel central field, edged in blue enamel and silver, upon which is a silver national eagle above a silver "Leben-rune" (Life-rune).The badge features the silver Gothic script "NS.- Frauenschaft." To the reverse, to either side of its crimped and soldered vertical pin-back device, is an embossed RZM logo and ‘M1/72' for maker FRITZ ZIMMERMANN-STUTTGART .     SOLD Original WWII German Army (Heer) Tropical Pith Helmet Shield (Tropenhelm Abzeichen) Certified.  In late 1940, with the impending German entrance into the North African campaign, tropical uniforms, headgear and equipment were quickly developed and issued in time for DAK, Deutsches Afrika Korps, (German Africa Corps), personnel’s arrival in Tripoli in February 1941. One of the new headgear items introduced was the tropical pith helmet which was based on the design of the earlier Kriegsmarine pith helmet. On its introduction the pith helmet was constructed of a formed cork base with a cotton twill covering until a second pattern pith helmet was introduced with a formed cork base with a felt covering. The second pattern pith helmet followed the same basic design as the first pattern but was modified to ease production time and material costs. Wear of the pith helmets was extended to personnel serving in southern areas of continental Europe but the helmets proved ineffective and unpopular and manufacture was discontinued sometime in 1942. On introduction the helmets were outfitted with a national eagle and national tri-color identification shields. Stamped zinc alloy national eagle shield features a silver washed, embossed, high relief, nicely detailed, Wehrmacht style eagle with down swept wings on a black finished, slightly pebbled background shield shape base with a raised lip to the outer edges. The shield has a recessed area in the shape of the eagle to the reverse and one of the  three attachment prongs are intact. It is constructed out of a white rayon base with white, red and black machine embroidered cotton stitching. The rectangular shaped obverse features the official Hitler Youth emblem which consists of; a black mobile swastika above a white square diamond which is surrounded by alternating white and red quadrants all within a rhomboid shaped diamond and has “Ges. Gesch” in red to the bottom all above a white base.   It measures approximately 4 3/4 inches tall by 2 7/16 inches wide. A nice uniform removed example.     SOLD Very Early! German Bavarian NS-RKB PERSONNEL'S VISOR CAP. (Schirmmütze) NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) Certified. : A 1936 pattern, deep navy blue wool construction visor cap. Fixed to the forward seam line of the body is a 1938 pattern, stamped aluminum, spread-winged eagle with a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons, and crossed swords behind an Iron Cross to its breast. The Iron Cross is detailed in black enamel. Beneath this, fixed to the front of the center band, is  a cockade The chin chord, which is blue and white, denotes it as Bavarian. One of the buttons holding the chord in place has been replaced as well. On one side the button is plain black, on the other the button has an anchor. The prongs for both are similar which makes it a possibility that the button is period replaced..  The interior of the cap is fully lined in mid-blue rayon, and features a tan leather sweatband. Ink stamped, in silver, to a celluloid diamond sewn to the interior crown is nicely maker marked. Roughly a size 56. Cap is Very good condtion. The Infantry Assault Badge in silver was introduced on December 20TH 1939 by Generaloberst Walther von Brauchitsch, for award to Officers, and EM/NCO's of non-motorized, Infantry and Mountain Infantry units. Criteria for the award varied, with the main qualification being participation in three separate Infantry assaults. Of Note: On June 1ST 1940 a bronze version of the Infantry Assault Badge was introduced for award to Officer's, and EM/NCO's of Motorized Infantry units.  Die struck, solid backed, zinc construction badge with a silver washed finish features an embossed, vertically oval, oak-leaf wreath with a Wehrmacht style eagle with down-swept wings, clutching a canted swastika in its talons, superimposed to the top center, encompassing a cut-out, bolt action, rifle with a fixed bayonet and a sling. Both the DR, and the DR-G were uniformed organizations responsible for all the railways within Greater Germany and eventually in the occupied areas. In February 1937 in a restructuring of the national railways the DR-G was absorbed into the DR.     Original German NSDAP (Nazi Party) DAF "Deutsche Arbeitsfront" (German Labor-front) Member's stick pin Certified.  The "Deutsche Arbeitsfront" (German Labor-front), originally founded in 1933, became an official NSDAP organization in October 1934. Its stated purpose was to educate the workers in industry and commerce in furtherance of the smooth and efficient operation of all labor in the Third Reich. It also controlled the KdF, "Kraft durch Freude" (Strength through Joy) organization which provided recreation for workers. However, DAF’s most important goal was to enforce the political stability of the large mass of work force. A die-struck alloy pin which features the DAF emblem of a mobile swastika within a fourteen-toothed cog, 20mm in diameter. The Leistungsabzeichen der HJ, (Proficiency Badge of the HJ), was instituted as the first Hitler Youth award by Reichsjugendführer Baldur von Schirach on May 1ST 1934 as an incentive for HJ members to increase their proficiency in military oriented athletics, academics, field exercises, and shooting. The badge was established in three grades of Silver, Bronze and Iron. The stamped, polished alloy award is in the form of a Tyr-rune with a circle superimposed to it, upon which is embossed, in runic script, "Für Leistungen In Der H.J." (For Proficiency In The H.J.), encompassing a mobile swastika. To the reverse is a raised RZM mark, "M1/101" indicating manufacture by Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen . The pin-back device is intact.     Original German WWI 1914 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class Stick Pin Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Worn in the post war period by a WWI German soldier.  As with most military and civilian awards of the Third Reich period miniature version lapel pins were permitted for wear on civilian clothing. These miniature awards were private purchase items and could only be purchased by individuals with the proper ownership documentation. General regulations, with a few minor exceptions, permitted wear of three miniature awards at one time but prohibited the mixing of military and civilian awards on one lapel pin. Nice quality, die struck alloy, combined, exact detailed miniatures of the Iron Cross 1ST and 2ND class. The Iron Crosses are neatly soldered together where their arms meet. Reverse has its vertical 40mm stickpin intact. very scarce.     SOLD Original WWII German Combat Used Wehrmacht (Army) Belt  Buckle Brought Home By A U.S. Soldier Certified. Early, (circa 1936-1940), injection molded construction, natural aluminum box buckle with a pebbled background field and a slightly domed, embossed central motif. The central motif features an embossed Wehrmacht style eagle with down swept wings on a subtly pebbled field to the center, encompassed by an embossed oak-leaf cluster to the bottom and script, "Gott Mit Uns", (God with Us), to the top. The oak-leaf cluster and script are on a ribbed background field and are encircled by both an inner and outer simulated twisted rope border. The reverse has the integral, raised, slotted buckle catch and separate prong bar and prongs all intact. A good example  in excellent condition. Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided.     SOLD Original WWII German Infantry Assault Badge In Sliver Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The Infantry Assault Badge in silver was introduced on December 20TH 1939 by Generaloberst Walther von Brauchitsch, for award to Officers, and EM/NCO's of non-motorized, Infantry and Mountain Infantry units. Criteria for the award varied, with the main qualification being participation in three separate Infantry assaults. Of Note: On June 1ST 1940 a bronze version of the Infantry Assault Badge was introduced for award to Officer's, and EM/NCO's of Motorized Infantry units.  Die struck, solid backed, zinc construction badge with a silver washed finish features an embossed, vertically oval, oak-leaf wreath with a Wehrmacht style eagle with down-swept wings, clutching a canted swastika in its talons, superimposed to the top center, encompassing a cut-out, bolt action, rifle with a fixed bayonet and a sling. The reverse has a crimped, soldered hinge, a thin, round, vertical, pin and a soldered catch. Slight crack in hinge, still functions perfectly. Very nice! The NSKOV, "National Sozialistische Kriegsopferversorung" (National Socialist War-disabled-support ), was formed in 1930 and institutionalized in 1933, as an associated society assisting NSDAP party members who had become disabled as a result of war injuries. An injection molded aluminum badge with a silver wash, 25mm at its widest point and 32mm tall. It takes the form of a mobile swastika, over which a sword is vertically superimposed, with a spray of oak leaves emanating from either side of the sword’s cross guard and under the swastika.     SOLD Original WWII Piece Of Hitler's Fireplace G.I. Souvenir Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A curious Hitler relic, a solid brass ashtray, 6" x 5 1/2" x 1" tall being a replica of Adolf Hitler's fireplace at the Berghof. Engraved at top is the legend: "FLICK YOUR ASHES ON HITLER'S HEARTH" with the addition at bottom:"This is an exact copy of the fireplace in Hitler's former home at Berchtesgaden from which the marble piece inset above is an actual part taken from there one month after V-E Day". At top is inset a 7/8" x 1/4" piece of brown marble. On the bottom of the ashtray is a printed Certificate of Authenticity signed by two soldiers who recovered the hearth from the drawing room fireplace at the Berghof in June, 1945 while on a "technical war assignment". Although one signature is worn away, the other is identified as " J. Weathershead, Jr.". The back is very worn.  in good condition with some slight storage wear (see photos).     Outstanding VERY RARE Exclamation Point M-33 SS Service Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

    Outstanding VERY RARE Exclamation Point M-33 SS Service Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. RZM marked nice quality dagger features a roughly, 22cm long, double edged, drop forged steel construction, nickel/silver plated blade with a low central ridge. The nickel/silver plated blade shows light scabbard runners and is still quite clean and bright with most of the original cross graining still being visible. The obverse of the blade has a nice, deep, well defined acid etched motto, "Meine Ehre Heißt Treue", (My Honor is Loyalty). With MEGA RARE exclamation point!!!!! The reverse of the blade has a well defined acid etched manufacturers logo, name and location. The RZM mark and maker number M7/29 for Klittemann & Moog and Jacobs. The dagger comes with a solid nickel/silver cross guard, pommel and tang nut and a carved ebony grip (note there is a few very small cracks in the wood (see photos) Very minor to the naked eye. The nicely shaped ebony grip has a nice snug fit to the cross guard and pommel fittings. The grip has a flush, inset, solid nickel/silver national eagle and nickel/silver and enameled runic SS button nicely fit in place. The dagger comes with a black painted, magnetic sheet metal scabbard with solid nickel/silver fittings. The scabbard retains all of its black finish. Both the top and bottom scabbard fittings retain both of their dome headed retaining screws and the top fitting has the hanger suspension ring and loop intact. Small crack at the tip near the screw where it was dropped at some point (minor but we thought we should point it out (see photos) Super nice!     Original German NSDAP (Nazi Party) RAD Members LAPEL STICK PIN. (Mitgliednadel) Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Roughly, 22mm tall, 15mm wide, vertically oval, die struck alloy lapel pin with multi-colored enamel work. The pin features a translucent red outer border with an underlying textured background . The red outer border encompasses a white inner oval with a silver bordered, black spade head with a canted, central, swastika. The spade handle is flanked by diagonally angled sheaves of wheat.     SOLD Original GERMAN WW2 NSFK/DLV GLIDER KORPS OFFICERS VISOR CAP BADGE Certified.  The DLV, "Deutscher Luftsport Verband" (German Air-sport Association), was established by forcibly, although legally, incorporating all civilian flying clubs, as well as the flying units of the SA and SS, into it in 1933. After 1935, when the secrecy regarding aerial re-armament was lifted, it served mostly as an Air force reserve and training ground for future members of the Luftwaffe. It was itself incorporated into the NSFK, "Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps" (National-socialist Flying-corps), in 1937. DLV (Deutschen Luftsportverband) Visor Cap Insignia Pin, construed out of a die struck zinc-alloy base that has been silver washed and contains red and black enamel work. The obverse features the DLV logo, which consists of; a centrally placed black mobile swastika, above a winged vertical propeller and a red circular boarder. The full back reverse is maker marked "RZM Ges. Gesch.". The pin is in well working condition. The enamel is in excellent condition, 98%+ intact. The silver wash is slightly faded.
