(The Orphanage) Gettysburg Plus Bullet In Collector’s Glass Case$72.00The Bullet Contained Within this Display Was Found Near The Homestead Orphanage On Cemetery Hill, Gettysburg. The wood is from the Homestead Orphanage .This is also the Building Where General O.O. Howard Had His Headquarters During The Battle Of Gettysburg. This Building Later Became The Homestead Orphanage. The Children Of Sgt. Amos Humiston Along With Many Orphans Of The Civil War Lived In This Building. This In The 1950’s This Building Became “The Charlie Weaver/Soldier’s Museum”. Pictured On The Front Of This Display Is A Copy Of The Original Photo Of The Building That Is In The Gettysburg Museum Of History. It Shows General Grant Visiting The Orphanage And The Children After The Civil War. Both The Wood And Bullet are 100% Authentic Bullet found pre-National Park and is 100% legal to own. A wonderful and rare set. This display comes matted and framed in a Riker display (collectors glass case). Mat color may vary. Great size 8″/12″ Comes museum documentation (COA).
