    $55.00
Original WWII German Kriegsmarine (Navy) Coastal Artillery Breast Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Solider Certified. The Kriegsmarine adopted slightly modified version of the NSDAP’s, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (National Socialist German Worker’s Party), national eagle for wear on the front of the headgear and the right breast of the uniform on March 24TH 1934. The breast eagles for the field-grey uniforms was basically the same as the standard breast eagles but were worked on different colored backgrounds. The early produced breast eagles were on a dark blue/green base while later production models were on a field-grey base. A  machine woven breast eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in it’s talons, in golden yellow rayon threads on a woven, field-grey rayon base.
