    Original Outstanding WWII U.S. M-1 Helmet With Painted Liner 87th Division Certified

    Original WWII U.S. M-1 fixed bail helmet with low heat stamp number and original factory straps. This helmet has most of it's original factory paint and is in good used condition. Some mild patina and very minor weather exposure on the surface paint. The liner is in remarkable condition, all original and has hand painted unit markings of the 3rd Battalion of the 346th Regiment of the 87th Division. There is also a Private First Class rank Chevron painted on the liner. The surface paint on the helmet liner is also factory applied. The liner was made by Westinghouse and has their maker mark. A very remarkable excellent condition painted liner with very good unmarked shell. The 87th Division has a great WWII history, good unit! 100% guaranteed to be WWII period helmet with period soldier applied paint.     SOLD Original WWII Invasion U.S. Flag Arm Band Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. An authentic WWII U.S.  oil cloth arm band with U.S. flag silk screened. These were used for invasions like Italy, Southern France, Normandy, and Holland. Worn mostly by Paratroopers but also some other invasion troops. They were generally worn as an arm band but sometimes the flag was cut out and sewn to a sleeve.     Original WWII Paratrooper M-42 Jacket Worn By An 82nd Airborne Sergeant Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. An outstanding 100% authentic WWII Airborne Paratrooper M-42 Jump Jacket. This is the early WWII jacket worn in training, Italy, and Normandy (D-Day). by operation Market Garden (Holland) they switched to to green color M-43 jacket and wore them for the rest of the war. This is the Normandy era paratrooper jump jacket every collector wants! It is in good condition has no major tears or holes it does have a period (during WWII) repaired zipper. The original waist belt it still intact and it has a solider's laundry stamp on the belt making an I.D. research attempt a possibility. It has the outline of an 82nd Airborne patch and a round patch "ghost" on the chest (possibly 508th PIR). Has the original staff Sgt. stripes.  It is a smaller size (most were in WWII).
