Iwo Jima is the most famous battle of the Pacific in WWII. It was the United States Marine’s finest hour in WWII. The most well known photo of the iconic flag raising was shot at Iwo Jima. The black sand of Iwo Jima became so infamous that the John Wayne film was named “Sands of Iwo Jima”. The relics offered here are 100% authentic from this important historic location. This display comes matted and framed in a Riker display. A nice size 8″/12″ is the overall size of the glass case. Please see our other WWII battlefield relics Art and mat color may vary.
