In Working  condition Civil War period Allen And Thurber model pistol .  It is a standard  version with plane wood grips and steel frame.  This gun’s spring is tight and it does work and does fire and cock and the  trigger and hammer works with a strong spring!    the grips are slightly worn but nice.   has some very mild surface pitting. A classic Civil War period pistol and A choice functioning display gun.  A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War.
