Original Nice Civil War Excavated Relic U.S. Eagle Breast plate recovered at Winchester, and it is an older recovered breast plate. A very historic recovery location.   Recovered at Winchester, Virginia what was then off National Park property and is 100% Legal and 100% authentic. The two hooks are broken but it looks good, in relic condition. MAKER MARKED “E. GAYLORD” This is one of the early pick-up breast plates from an old collection.  Documented Breast plates are very difficult to find and only come from old collections.
