Hitler’s Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop’s Personal Silver LARGEST OF THE SET MASSIVE PUNCH BOWL SERVER WITH EXTRA LARGE EAGLE Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran

SOLD

Hitler’s Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop’s Personal LARGE HEAVY PUNCH BOWL SERVER Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. Extremely rare silver piece with the National Eagle (very much like the Hitler pattern). The piece has 2x the normal size Von Ribbentrop’s personal (diplomatic pattern) Nazi eagle (see photo next to ruler). Overall, a whopping 15″ long!  It has the correct maker marks for this piece. The “Ribbentrop” or “Diplomatic” pattern is .925 silver (Hitler’s is .800) so this actually has a higher silver content. This would be used by Ribbentrop when entertaining diplomats and guests. THIS EXQUISITE PATTERN IS MORE RARE THAN HITLER SILVER THESE ARE THE FIRST SERVING PIECES HE HAVE SEEN! He would also wear this eagle crest on the lower sleeve of his uniforms in later years (see photos). von Ribbentrop was ambassador to England before the war then rose to the top of the Nazi hierarchy. He was tried, convicted, and hung for war crimes at the Nuremberg trials. This piece was taken by a U.S. Soldier during WWII as “Loot” or “Trophy of War”. This type is pictured in Dr. Griffith’s latest book on Third Reich silver and loot (see photos). 100% guaranteed to be authentic complete museum documentation (COA) provided. An amazing historical artifact from the 20th century’s most infamous events.   Don’t miss your chance to own this real museum authenticated piece of WWII history, See our other pieces on our web site.
