Original WWII High Quality Silk Japanese NATIONAL FLAG With Original Ties And U.S. Marine Knife Certified

SOLD

Original WWII Japanese NATIONAL FLAG Certified. Most Japanese troops during the second world war carried a personal flag. They had practical as well as patriotic uses, such as marking positions to keep them safe from friendly aircraft while advancing. Rare silk example is 68cm x 52cm. An approximately 22cm diameter red “Himaru” to the center of the flag’s white field. Shows the expected age and use. Comes with a USMC medical knife (looks and feels like a machete but it’s a medical knife) came from the same Marine veteran.  100% Guaranteed to be authentic and is certified by The Gettysburg Museum Of History and comes with our Museum COA (certificate of authenticity). A rare piece of WWII/Japan occupation history. DO NOT MISS THIS! Nice Marine grouping!  nice used example with some slight staining (see photos)!
