Original WWII German RAD MALE’S OFFICER BULLION CAP INSIGNIA. (Mützenabzeichen) Certified. RAD male’s cap insignia as first introduced in metal in 1934 for use on the overseas, M43 and “Robin Hood” style caps. In 1938 machine woven and embroidered versions were introduced and used throughout the war. a hand embroidered (silver bullion with red & black rayon) officers RAD insignia. The insignia consists of an inverted, pointed tip, spade head with a red embroidered outer border encompassing a central, black embroidered, canted swastika flanked by diagonally angled sheaves of wheat. The cap has a short, rounded, extended front visor with an internal stiffener.  Nice used example showing the expected but mild storage age and wear a few nips. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic Brought home by a U.S. solider as a trophy of war.   Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided.
