There are no numbers, so it is impossible to accurately date this one. It is a standard version with wood grips and steel frame. The spring is fair and it does work and does fire and cock if you push the trigger forward.   the grips are slightly worn but nice. The gun is about .32 caliber.  Many European weapons were exported to the US for sale before and during the Civil War.
