Original WWII Japanese Army  Visor Cap In Good Condition Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. First introduced in 1905 and used until the end of the Second World War. Medium olive drab wool body and crown. The one-piece crown is piped in red wool to its edge. The four-piece body has seams at each of its cardinal points, with two metal grommet ventilation holes under each side of the crown. The IJA brass star affixed to the front of the center band. The cap has its original black patent finished chinstrap, with dual adjustment sliders, fixed by alloy officer’s buttons with embossed chrysanthemums. Black patent finished visor. Liner is complete. Sweatband complete. Approximately a size 54.
