Original WWII Japanese “TYPE 90” COMBAT HELMET Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. The standard WWII Japanese infantry combat helmet. The shell, constructed from chrome polybend steel retains some paint was most likely stored in the Veterans basement so has some light surface patina. The IJA metal star affixed to the front. The three-pad pigskin liner and band is intact but a bit loos at one spot. The helmet has all of the original cloth chinstrap ( see photos) and does have all rivets and rings. Decent field worn example. Large size. Painted kanji inside (name or unit) 100% Guaranteed to be authentic and is certified by The Gettysburg Museum Of History and comes with our Museum COA (certificate of authenticity).
