Original WWII Japanese SOLDIER’S PERSONAL “Comfort Bag” with Kanji writing with contents Brought Home By A U.S. Marine Veteran Certified. Most Japanese troops during the second world war carried a personal flag or comfort bag They had practical as well as patriotic uses, such as marking positions to keep them safe from friendly aircraft while advancing. A green pouch with printed information to one side. The pouch measures approximately 24cm x 34cm.  These bags were usually sent from home with personal items like razors of toiletries or other “comforts” from home. Note the contents do not match up with the printed Kanji contents printed on the bag. Soldiers often used these bags well after the original contents were gone. U.S. forces that captured them also sometimes added items they found. This has a barrel of a pistol, glasses, skin solvent, postcards,  100% Guaranteed to be authentic and is certified by The Gettysburg Museum Of History and comes with our Museum COA (certificate of authenticity).
