Confederate Reed shell that has been completely  dis-armed (inert) no gun powder! This shell is 100% safe! It was cleaned using the electrolysis process to remove active rust. Has lathe dog near fuse adapter.  It has hand cut flame grooves in copper ring sabot. Very nice looking classic Confederate shell. It is ground dug but the recovery location is unknown. This shell is  100% Legal and 100% authentic. Some pitting, in very good relic condition. Very clean for a relic!
