Original semi-funtioning Old West/Indian Wars Period ANTIQUE Model 1871 rim Fire 6 Shot Revolver Certified. .22 rimfire caliber, 7 shot single action revolver, 2 3/8″ or 3″ octagon barrel, solid brass frame, spur trigger, marked WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY CT USA, produced from 1871 to 1876 Antique Pistol Certified. In semi-Working condition There is no numbers so it is impossible to accurately date this one other than the patent date. It is a standard version with wood grips and nickle plated steel frame. This gun’s spring is broken and it does not work, fire and cock. the grips are slightly worn but nice. has some nickle plating with slight loss Many soldiers carried private purchase “back up” weapons as illustrated in the photos. This gun is 100% guaranteed to be authentic, and unaltered. A fantastic semi-functioning display piece. Complete museum documentation (COA) provided.
