Original Non-Excavated Civil War Union Eagle Breast Plate Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History.  A stamped brass lead filled model eagle breast plate.   This plate has a nice brassy patina, looks fantastic!  This plate would have most likely come home with a solider and it is NOT excavated from a battle (NOT dug from the ground).  100% authentic.  Both of the two hooks are intact, and it looks great, in excellent used condition (see photos).
