Original Nice Civil War Excavated Relic U.S. Breast plate is is an older recovered breast plate. A very historic recovery location and a very nice-looking plate.   Recovered at North Anna, Virginia what was then off National Park property and is 100% Legal and 100% authentic. Both of the hooks are intact, and it looks great, in excellent relic condition. A nice very smooth chocolate brown patina (the way we like them)! This is one of the better early pick-up breast plates from an old collection.  Breast this nice are very difficult to find and only come from old collections.
