Original Nice Civil War Excavated Relic U.S.  Breast  plate is is an older recovered breast plate. A very historic recovery location and a very nice looking plate.   Recovered what was then off National Park property and is 100% Legal and 100% authentic. Both of the two hooks are broken but  it looks great, the face is in excellent relic condition. Has the maker “W.H. Smith Brooklyn”stamped into the back. This is one of the better early pick-up breast  plates from an old collection.  Breast this nice are very difficult to find and only come from old collections.
