Original Nice Civil War Excavated Relic U.S. box  plate recovered At  Balls Bluff  and it is is an older recovered  plate. A very historic recovery location.  A nice chocolate brown patina.  Recovered at The Balls Bluff  Battlefield in Virginia what was then off National Park property and is 100% Legal and 100% authentic. Both of the two hooks is intact and it looks good, in  relic condition. This is one of the early pick-up  plates from an old collection.  Documented  plates are very difficult to find and only come from old collections.
